I know. I still have a couple on my wish list and am trying to be good. Well, less bad than previously, at least. It's been a naughty autumn so far. There has been a little parade of UPS and FedEx drivers at our house in the past couple of weeks and DH is starting to twitch when he hears the doorbell. :p

Try numbing him with a cold one. So, I gather you have found some clothing/accessories you like? I just went thru much of my assortment of last fall's clothes. Not that that will stop me from acquiring new stuff. . .

Look what came home with me! Zenobie CW13 vert d'eau/rose/jaune VIF. Just love it! :)
Was also hoping to bring home a Dans L'Atelier shawl, but all the SA could get for me was CW07 - and while I've seen some lovely photos of it here, it just didn't work for me. Would really like to see 06. Still hoping that the Hermes gods will work their magic and one that I like will find its way to my hands. :)
No Chasse en Inde yet in Toronto which is frustrating. This is one on the top of my wish list.
I also tried on Le Mors CW05 - navy/black/heather blue. I know there are pictures of it posted here but the pictures just don't do it justice. It is stunning in real life! I'm not normally drawn to dark colours and usually find they aren't that flattering on me because I'm very fair, but I was really surprised how much I liked it. Since it was a little out of my comfort zone, I decided to sleep on it. We'll see if I can get it out my head....IMG_2188.JPG IMG_2182.JPG

Hi everyone. Could you help me with my next shawl? I currently have one shawl in my collection and am looking to add a new one, the trouble is, I just can't decide!...I currently have a Tyger Tyger, shown below. My wardrobe is mainly black, white, blue and brown, so only neutrals. I have one Rubis Evelyne and one Blue de Prusse Kelly, so all the colours in Tyger Tyger matches everything in my wardrobe. ]

Myrkur, I'm going to offer you a differ perspective. In my opinion - and you may be too new H GMs to really have an answer - it depends on the type of pattern you like in your scarves when you fold them.

Based on color, I would immediately say Chasse, it's a no brainier.

BUT!!! I recently tried on this design - so gorgeous, love the cws - and passed on it. And that is because I don't like predictable, repetitive patterns on me. The Kachinas for me is a must because it folds so nicely and it looks different all around. I also liked Oiseaux-Fleurs because, even though it's a small pattern, there is a lot going on, and there are the different color blocks to break it up. I LOVE Chasse, but in the long run I will tire of it. No matter how you fold it, it's going to look pretty much the same. I value the versatility of something like your Tyger, because it's like having four different shawls depending upon your fold.

HTH!! [emoji8]

This is beautiful on you CanuckBagLover! This cw really seems to suit blondes (I'm blonde too), but it's not a cw I would usually choose for myself. I must give it a try...your photos have swayed me! I am shocked that I haven't purchased a single shawl or scarf this season. What is wrong with me?! The ones I've bought, I have returned. This one is so pretty and different than anything else I own, so I think I'll try it on.

So lovely on you! Perfect with that yellow sweater!

Am home again. Hopefully some better pix.
@Greengoddess8 - this first photo is for you- although H calls this electric blue, my eye reads it as a bluish purple.
for comparison, the top of the pic has a tshirt I consider bluish purple, and an eagle creek packing cube in "grape"
( the reddish purple is almost an exact match for the rimowa purple salsa air suitcase- which you should be able to google), and on the bottom left is my au coeur de la vie from 2014 with the royal blue border..

The other pix are model shots
2. With navy t and blue cardigan
3. On pearl gray cashmere sweater

Oops- actually 2 is on gray, and 3 with blue...

Supposedly the second color is "Caban" which means peacoat. But the darkest color looks more like black than navy to me...ok maybe I have old eyes!

Hope have enabled someone!
