I own this one and love it. The blue is like the Mediterranean Sea and the effect is so very calming. Of course, it reflects my blue addiction.

The lions and fabulous beasts were the most divine bit and here, in the finesse section, they don't stand out at all .I can see why H chose the way to colour it in this configurationas the corresponding corner is very dull, and so they've favoured the corner with the birds to be shown in radiant colour.
I was p---d off when I saw it was going to be a mash-up , sacrilege!!!
Yet here I am loving it and especially the deep petrol blue and the magenta . It makes the thing so much more modern .
Thought I'd share the creatures on my old one.

Sorry I’m so late, but it took some time before I realized that les legendas seem to me most interesting of this season silk. Then again I looked through older posts and found Frou Frou opinion. Many thanks Frou Frou for the reminder of the previous versions and compare it to the new.
Even if You’ve said “sacrilege”, You,ve noticed it look so modern almost 20 years after first issue too.
My observation is: Annie Faivre thought very unusual ways in her time especially by creating les legendas. She divided diagonally the theme into two parts. First full of symbols and the second only for drawings of trees. Like an invitation to contemporary interpretation made by Annie herself in the date of first issue. And of course the modern look is gained by cutting border. I think Annie Faivre has done a good job this season.

Wonderful description of the colours - the dark green is hardly visible on the website picture, I didn't know it was there! This colourway is calling to me! Congratulations!

I can wait to see it! That colorway isn't good for me but I love this design. I am thinking that the purple/orange CW6 would be good for me but I haven't seen any real-life photos of it. Do you have both CW1 and CW5?
