Thanks so much for showing us these. I love the cw you've chosen, it obviously ties in with your wardrobe brilliantly, I'd like to take a look at it when I get the chance. I've gone for a different vibe (02 and 03) and I think this scarf is very much about colour and emotions.

The more I find out about this scarf the more I like it. It's no coincidence it's so painterly as it pays tribute to the Nabi movement, for more read here: http://www.theartstory.org/movement-les-nabis.htm. Their mantra "sounds, colours, and words have a miraculously expressive power beyond all representation and even beyond the literal meaning of the words" is also a nod to the correlating vibrations of all things and so everything we 'put out there' has impact on ourselves and others, even the equilibrium of the 'overall' at any given time. A huge responsibility to choose and wear the most fitting and significant design and cw of scarf at all times!
Thank you for that ref papertiger - I really enjoyed reading :-)
I too am always drawn to the painterly ones!
And that c/w of Au Bout du Monde is (unbelievably) even better IRL

I don't have many teal clothes (teal brings out my dark under eyes circles! ) but this is a pic of the scarf with the only "almost teal" dress i have. The lighting is not good, sorry.

MadMadCat Your choice of cw 04 perfectly fits all dark shades of cloth, the black one – so amazing and smart, the chocolate much better, but the dark green absolutely delicious. Thank You for usefull presentation (its so important for me, fan of dark cloths) and stop worrying about eyes  enjoy great elegance

Thank you very much MadMadCat for this posting. I can see that like with your other postings this versatile scarf goes with this dress! Super good purchase!

Thanks for your kind comments klynneann, mimi 123, Bostonjetset, rainneday and weibandy!

Great back-story indeed! Thanks for posting this, papertiger. I must say that 04 was not a the top of my list, but when I saw it IRL I could not say no. The CW 03, 09 and 10 are the ones that could get me in troubles. I cannot bring myself to buy H scarves online, I'm so particular about colors. I am intrigued by 03 and 09 because of the deep reds, as long as it is the "right" shade of red. 10 is wonderfully neutral, but it feels like the summer version of 04.

02 is as close to a dead cert as I could get and I trust my instincts on that one 100%. 03 would be so fabulous with my beige trenches and has a touch of the 1970s about it but even if it doesn't work out I'm quite happy with credit/exchange for a Versailles (certainly not sure which colour Versailles)

I agree on 10, but what a double-act they'd make tied/worn together :graucho:

Not sure if these colors are posted already, but I hope this will be helpful for some. I've tried 6cws (02, 04, 07, 08, 09, 10) of Au Bout du Monde so far and there's not any single on I don't like. I might even get backups. It's simple but versatile. I forgot to take photos last time so here are the ones I tried today.

And for those who are curious about Kachinas

I hope I don't go crazy on this one. It's so pretty in real life. I tried 3 so far and purchased 2. But the 3rd one is haunting me...

cw 37 (Croisette you're so right about this one. I tried and reserved it but have been combating if I should really keep it until I see the photo. Sometimes photos tell better than the mirror! This is a keeper!)

I haven't been able to wear the scarf yet, but i am in love. It ties beautifully and i am looking forward to see other cw's in real life!

WOW! This is a beauty! It goes with so many different colors! Thank you for posting these pics; you styled each one perfectly!
In "scarf language" we call this a magic scarf. This one scarf looks like six different scarves! That's a great investment! Truly amazing! (I'm going back for another look....)

Oh my oh my, you should definitely have your SA find this for you. I'm "trying" to be a wise H scarf shopper this season by sleeping on the thought first, but the 40 was one that I could not imagine not having so I brought it home immediately. I was a bit worried about the yellow, it could be tricky, but once tied, that yellow just smiles happiness and brightens up your face. It looks a bit muted on my screen now, it's not mustardy. I find this cw a great mix of happiness and romance.

Thank you for this interesting cite on art, papertiger. The art background definitely enriches the experience of looking at the HS.

Colorway 40 is what I would have chosen too. Congrats and enjoy!

Thank you, Ladybaga!
Yes a magic scarf indeed! I love these because they're my favourite when travelling. I just pick a couple of scarves and an array of clothes that match them, to keep the look fresh with a minimal packing.
