This is a 90cm in a new fabrication, 65% wool/ 35% silk. An interesting, somewhat sheer weave makes it wearable for warmer months as well as fall/ winter. Love both the design and composition, so I will be adding more colorways.

Congrats Monceau, it's lovely! It reminds me of the (old) Liberty challis shawls a bit. I'm looking forward to seeing more cws.

Oh wow Monceau, this is every inch as gorgeous as I was hoping it would be!! I have one concern though...does it feel itchy around your neck? I thought it was 100% cashmere, so it was on my wish list. Not sure I can wear something that's 65% wool against my skin. I imagine it feels heavenly, as does anything produced by Hermes, but this is definitely one I will have to try on in the store.

I have only tried it on for a few minutes so far, but it does not itch at all. If I didn't know better, I would think this was cotton and silk. It has a bit of a gaberdine feel, but much, much lighter- it's quite airy. Very light, like the cashmere plume stole, but holds its shape.
I have sensitive skin and only use unscented and dye free soaps and detergent, and the Mumbai feels fine to me.

This is GORGEOUS! And I love the price since it is wool instead of cashmere! I may have to get one for the winter haha

Thank you, dear, you definitely should give this one a look.
Calculating the cost of the items on my fall wish list gave me a headache! I was under the impression that this was a CS 100, so finding out it is a wool/ silk 90 and therefore quite a bit less expensive was a nice surprise. This weave is actually better in my climate- closer to a three season piece, so a double nice surprise!

I don't know where you live [other than in a Slim Aarons photo :p] but "3-season" for most people equals winter for me so it should be perfect haha. I'm always hot so unless it's single digits you're lucky to catch me in a coat let alone heavy scarves haha.

I tried the same one at the store and it's beautiful but I'm still not sure yet. I'd like to see the other color in person.
The fabric is a little "sparse" and I'm afraid I'll pull the one of the strings and all come loose LOL
