I wanted to share some modeling pics of the fall scarves to help those who haven't seen them in person to get an idea, as I have always gained so much help and idea here. [emoji4]

The au bout du monde is an amazing design. Despite the simplicity, when folded in triangle for the cowboy knot (my fav for 90cm), each of the 4 corners imparts a completely different feel and look. I initially love the corner with plants from the online pictures, however I love it too when I put the corner with the "plain" (or that's what I thought) sky in the front. It just shows off the beautiful glow of the silk in a single color and drapes like a dream. I instantly fell in love and decided this is THE scarf for me this season. The other two corners wear beautifully as well. You know you have that scarf that you like part of the design so you always wear that on the outside? Well this is going to be the one that looks great no matter how you wear it!!

I just made it home and the lighting isn't great but here are some shots of mors a la conetable 05 which is marine noir bleu chine. It's very monochromatic blue (of course there is some Colvert). Here is last years cavalleria d'etriers in the last photo which in comparison has more purple and other colors. I'm glad I bought the mors. For me it doesn't duplicate but I'm a big fan of blues. It does feel slightly thinner and less soft than last years. I wouldn't have noticed of someone didn't mention it. Maybe it will pill less?

Thanks for the comparison pics with Cavalleria d'Etriers: I have the same colorway as you and I also want the blue Mors. I was wondering if they would be too similar but now I see they aren't, yayyy|||

Here are some bandana enabling pics [emoji12][emoji12]
I love all the symbolism on it. It makes me feel very protected when I wear this [emoji2][emoji6]

Below-Not sure what this style is called. I just twisted twice and tied in the back. It showcase the center of scarf. View attachment 3410061View attachment 3410062

Below-Bova knot. Thanks bunnycat!View attachment 3410063View attachment 3410064

Below-Bunnycat's other post reminded me of this method! [emoji6] Simple and cool. I used my own ring...size 7 is not too loose, not too tight. View attachment 3410065

Love this on you!

The comic book effect you mention is definitely a look I dislike. Gimme my vintage scarves!
I debated over using the expression «comic book» and hedged my bets by also saying graphic. I was not trying to be pejorative in any way just descriptive and «comic book» is spot on
But, a good example are Toutsy's coconuts: the almond shaped things in the corners of the vintage design Aloha and the recent Mythiques Phoenix. Vastly different look with (Aloha) and without (MP) the detailed shading on the coconuts
Aqua (2).JPG Aloha - see shading on orange coconut
002507S03 Purple Jaune Citron Canard (5) .jpg Mythiques
The electric colors in this cw of MP also add a graphic - dare I say «comic book look »

I agree that this is one of the best 90s this season. It is a great design and indeed ties SO beautifully. C/W 03 is my fave.
I love this too. I'm drawn to CW 04, but want to see IRL. There's also one extra CW on the French site. Here's the painting on which the design in based.

Found this on the French website - Chemins de Corail cw06 - I don't think pictures of this design have been posted yetView attachment 3410313

OOOooo...
Thank you for posting this!
Ever since I read the title I was curious about the design, this might be my "scarf of the season"
Checking this thread is my favourite thing to unwind after work :-)

Thanks!
I do love ocean theme scarves... Looking forward to seeing all the CWs of this one.

Same here: Love water, fishies, boats, seashells. But this CW is just too much black and yellow.

I saw a Mors a la Conetable GM yesterday, cw 14 aqua/salmon/heather gray. What struck me straightaway was the looser weave, more transparency and thinner feel than the spring GM offerings.
