I tried some wonderful 100cm Cotton scarves from the Mens' range , so chic! The cotton was very fine and drapey . This size is indeed perfect for the casual drape without tying and being cotton stays put.

The polka dot maxitwilly …..less said better .I'm so not a fan of 'Hermès' logo in a prominent place and having seen it tried ,it looks very ordinary .

I'm sorry to see the Dipdyes phased out , though I suspect most of us are happy with just a couple in our collex, so maybe the sales lacked impetus.

70cm …I'm crying! Personally I liked the recent design a lot and especially the graffiti-esque and cartoon ones.
The current Dragonflies is a must, so beautiful.

I have never taken to the large formats in pure silk ,but they seem popular so I expect they are here to stay for a while .

For me , bring back: Mousseline 90cm, Cotton scarves , and return to the old Mousseline fabric. :D

I know about 100 ways to beautifully tie a scarf....and almost all of those ways make me feel like I am suffocating. [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51] Not all the time, but sometimes I feel more sensitive to it and I'm just pulling down on the scarf trying to get more room away from my neck. Plus it's not as easy to wear a 90 and a necklace.

Well, initally I loved the idea & look of wrapping it around my neck 2 times and then tying it into a big bow. I did that once and wore it to work.... about an hour later....the fussy bow and strangulation set in and I promptly took it off. smh I'm just not into fussy scarves or strangulation :p I could've tried other draping methods of wearing the MT but I never fell in love with any other look I created.

Is the Hermes logo prominent on the polka dot MT?
It looks very minimalist in the photos, I did not see any logos- I have requested two of these, so perhaps I should reconsider...

I have mentioned the 100s time and again to my SA- I grab every men's 100 design that works for me.
I generally prefer to wear scarves in a loose bias drape- sans scarf ring or knot. Unfortunately, the 90 silks don't always stay put, but the 100 does not wander away from my neck.

I'm sure the140 format is here to stay, but I do fear the dip dyes are gone. None this season and none for fall- my SA said they have been removed from the offerings.

I saw a Navy and White one briefly ,and Hermès was printed onto the middle of it , it seemed very prominent .
I hope you will get a chance to have a look yourself ,I'll be interested to hear what you think.

So sad regarding the dip dyes! :crybaby: They drape so beautifully, and I love their casual elegance. Hopefully they'll bring them back at some point!

YES!! I do the exact same. I have tried making cute waterfalls/bows etc, and invariably before even lunch hits, I have it undone. I hate the feeling of something close to my neck. I also hate that the bows have to be fidgeted with a gazillion times to allow retention of desired shape. WAY. TOO. MUCH. WORK!

The dip-dyes are sandwashed silk which is evidently an extra use of energy so the fabric is not considered environmentally friendly. I don't think that was the reason the product was evidently discontinued, tho. The colors were really dark as a rule. It was hard to see the design.

On the other hand, I don't know how I would use the large formats, they seem overwhelming.

Maybe try to tie a knot in back of your neck before you bring the tails around in front to tie a bow or knot of your choosing. This will help avoid strangulation.

Very interesting discussion on formats and sizes. I generally prefer larger formats but have started to discover the charm of the 70, now that its being discontinued! I wonder what the reasons are for the the decision.

:yahoo:
I am anxious to see more of it. I suspect that is one I will strongly dislike or will be heads over heels about. And it would my very first "Go Bears" scarf...wonder if it comes in blue and gold...

oh yes! :yahoo::yahoo:
Though my first impression is that it looks like a dog:shrugs:

I found some press day photos on IG of the 2016 fall scarves. The account is public so I *think* it's okay to share here?!

Dear MYH, thank you so much for this advise!! Easy enough and I really wonder why I did not think of it myself earlier... ;) Tried it today and it really helps keeping the MT in place and avoid strangulation! :D So sorry to see the MT go...
