Perfect timing! I am so happy to see the love for Collections Imperiales here. It is truly fabulous. I think it is my favorite design of the season and will definitely allow for multiples in my collection. I think it is one of those types of scarves that you must see in person. I was mesmerized when my SA first brought it out. The gold outlines are amazing! Reallly, really amazing!! CW13 is so different for me, but it was love at first sight:smile1:! Sorry for the terrible knotting, just wanted to try and give an idea as to what the scarf looks like tied.

Just superb ,love this design and you chose so well with this c'way :it's luminous

bagsto diefor Many thanks for posting these and thereby igniting that flame of desire -----for L'ombre des Boulevards CSGM
Much as I like some of the other scarves shown here a lot , I know they won't get much wear and I def. don't need more stashed away .This is the one I know is for me :D

I haven't heard anyone mention Balade en Berline. Is it new for F/W15? Or is is a S/S design, and I missed it? I just spotted it in CW13, shades of pink & burgundy, and I'm in love! That ginormous wheel, that looks as though the spokes are made out of Hermès ribbons... yum!

Has anyone tried it on?

Also the pink CW of Paddocks is drawing me in... I have a feeling this might be a "pink" season for me!

Unless I pop for Tyger Tyger. But I'm so short (60" on a good day) that the big giant tiger might not work for me. Zebra Pegasus was a disaster... my darling SA was shaking her head even as I was trying it on. (Not that I'm complaining; I left with MetM and a DD of Jungle Love that day! And I love that I have an SA who's honest with me.)

Elaine, I have tried Balade en Berline. It is another that is much prettier in person. I thought it tied very well too and seems to be really versatile. The pink Paddock is really stunning, it is a bright pink~really bright! However, I adore Paddock and tried a few other colors and am now trying to decide. I did pick up the Tyger Tyger in cw 05. I am also petite and this one is okay for me~could never do the CSGM. I will post a picture to give you further ideas. I liked Zenobie and it ties well, but the overall design didn't capture my attention long enough. Strangely, I had the same issue with ZP and picked cw07. It was the only cw that worked for me! An honest SA is an amazing ally to have! :smile1: BTW, thanks for posting the poem!:hugs:

My dear, Frou frou! The border color is an orangy red and you know how I have talked about my orange challenge! ha! So happy it worked with my coloring. I think the oranges that have been produced this season have a tone that is much more wearable for me! Yay!!!:happydance:Have you seen the orange Paddock? It is gorgeous!!! I think you are going to find lots of amazing pieces in your signature colors~orange and red!

I can't remember if the 90 cm Tyger Tyger in cw05 Ardois/Turquoise/Brique has been posted yet. I think I have the little sister to Rainneday's CSGM! I tried GreenGoddess's gorgeous cw~pink with lavender tyger~ and it is so, so pretty! :smile1:

Has anyone seen 'l'arbre du vent' yet? I am curious what kind of pattern this is?

I believe it's a combo of l'arbre de vie and peuple du vent. Similar to what they did with cavalleria d'etriers. HTH. :)

^ ^ Let me provide the correct information about L'arbre du Vent scarf.

Attached is a picture of it.

This is the Mexican yarn and beads pattern that is coming in both 90 silk twill and 140 cashmere silk.
But you can understand the confusion about L'Arbre du Vent' as the name contains elements from two recent popular scarves and if you look at the design the roundels and the swirly tentacles do resemble some of the design elements of 'Peuple du Vent.' It's not a scarf that screams 'Mexico'! At least not to me but then I'm an ocean away and no expert. No new scarves on the European, Australian or Japanese websites yet - just USA - Hermes must think the Americans are more likely to treat themselves on the run up to the 4th of July!

The 'Collections Imperiales' are far more impressive that I thought they would be but the internet does not show how the outlines of the finer points of the design are picked out ( at least in the dark green and brick colours that I saw a few days ago) in metalic ink . I am preparing for an expensive season.!
