I love this, but it does remind me of a "paint your own pottery" design. Her work has a childlike aspect to it, IMO.
Cacaliers du Caucase will be beautifu as al CSGM shawl. Can't wait!and the always special Cavaliers du Caucase
here pic in 90 this season, just to remind the design
Dear cherryblossum, I did not know you were a fan of French music!! (moi aussi) Satie was definitely a FLANEUR!frou frou, I just came back from Kelly's thread. Thank you for your pics!

This is so exciting! I loved this scarf, but there were no cws that worked for me in the 90 cms. I can't wait to see the CSGM cws!!
Thanks for this interesting news! I will be in Paris in late June...hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the new season...
Ooooooohhhhh
This is fun.... Thank you dear sissy- your exciting information is appreciated
Yes à l'Ombre des Boulevards will be wonderful in GM
I was at the new GLORIOUS Le Flaneur Wanderland H exhibition in London yesterday , this design is on all the walls of one room , and I had plenty of time study it and 'go' right inside those boulevards .
I made a decision there and then to become a flaneur and carry the memory of this feeling with me always.

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated
I went Wednesday, isn't it literally wonderful, I felt like I was in the Alice in Wonderland, so many beautiful unique objects to study. I would have liked even more silk

Thank you dear Sissy!! Looking forward to the new shawls!
Faivre jewelry scarf similar to Terres Precieuses, but not as tribal, and no leaves in the center. Just supersized earrings, necklaces, bracelets, maybe 15 pieces on the scarf.
Mexican flower scarf with huichol yarn art and huichol beading - In the center of the scarf is a simple concentric circle pattern, with small and simple yarn flowers in the center. As we move out from the center, the yarn flowers become more dramatic, more layers of yarn, more 3-D shading inside the flowers. In one corner, the design is lots of tall and thin underwater sea leaves, in one corner it is tiny birds flying around flowers, in one corner there are lots and lots of little flowers, and in one corner there are two horses jumping towards each other. The horses are made up of huichol beads. At the tip of each scarf is a small strip/chunk of huichol beading with elaborate patterns. The beading looks very photo-realistic, as if a picture of the beaded horses was taken and just placed on top of the scarf.
Uno, you're back!! Thank you for the detailed descriptions. I think the one with Chinese tiles is calling my name.Collections Imperials is a collection of Chinese ceramic tiles
There is a big square in the center of the scarf, but turned an angle to make a diamond shape. Inside the diamond is a big circle with a Chinese flower motifs. Around the circle are hexagon/octagon jewelry box lids (?) or maybe they are just ceramic tiles, with different Chinese flowers. A few lids have horse exactly as are shown in this picture. In the four corners of the scarf are mid-sized squares, all with different tile patterns. The borders have strips of tiles, rectangles and triangles. Everything has a different flower pattern like this picture. It reminds of Pique Fleuri Provence, but wider strips of tiles, bigger flowers than Pique has.
