I love this, but it does remind me of a "paint your own pottery" design. Her work has a childlike aspect to it, IMO.

And to me this tiger painting by Shirley reminds Henri Rousseau's tigers, if you know what I mean. She just adds more background colors. Will see what it looks like. I have not been a fan of tiered scarves H produced so far.

This is so exciting! I loved this scarf, but there were no cws that worked for me in the 90 cms. I can't wait to see the CSGM cws!!

Thanks for this interesting news! I will be in Paris in late June...hoping to catch a glimpse of some of the new season...

me too, no one for me in silk, really hope for special combination in GM

the only one I could see in pic, seems really catching the eye, is very nice and has this colors:
green- violet- and three different tones of red (rouge H, rouge vif and the other little lighter like rose)
really waiting impatiently to know all the color combinations.

Ooooooohhhhh
This is fun.... Thank you dear sissy- your exciting information is appreciated

very happy to be useful my friend.

Yes à l'Ombre des Boulevards will be wonderful in GM
I was at the new GLORIOUS Le Flaneur Wanderland H exhibition in London yesterday , this design is on all the walls of one room , and I had plenty of time study it and 'go' right inside those boulevards .
I made a decision there and then to become a flaneur and carry the memory of this feeling with me always.

so agree with you

:flowers:

Thanks for the info, greatly appreciated

:hugs: I went Wednesday, isn't it literally wonderful, I felt like I was in the Alice in Wonderland, so many beautiful unique objects to study. I would have liked even more silk :p

:flowers:

Thank you Sissy M [emoji173]️ and so excited about the CdC [emoji1]

we will wait together in good company

Faivre jewelry scarf – similar to Terres Precieuses, but not as tribal, and no leaves in the center. Just supersized earrings, necklaces, bracelets, maybe 15 pieces on the scarf.

The name of this scarf is: Zenobie, Reine de Palmyre and these exact earrings are featured in the center of the scarf on a large scale. All the jewelry pieces are drawn oversized.

Mexican flower scarf with huichol yarn art and huichol beading - In the center of the scarf is a simple concentric circle pattern, with small and simple yarn flowers in the center. As we move out from the center, the yarn flowers become more dramatic, more layers of yarn, more 3-D shading inside the flowers. In one corner, the design is lots of tall and thin underwater sea leaves, in one corner it is tiny birds flying around flowers, in one corner there are lots and lots of little flowers, and in one corner there are two horses jumping towards each other. The horses are made up of huichol beads. At the tip of each scarf is a small strip/chunk of huichol beading with elaborate patterns. The beading looks very photo-realistic, as if a picture of the beaded horses was taken and just placed on top of the scarf.

The name of this scarf is: L'arbre du Vent

Another scarf that is coming is: Sieste au Paradise

The scarf has the exact same feel as La Femme aux Semelles

In the center is a large rock cliff, with a lake at the bottom. There are very sparse Joshua trees in the foreground as tree branches and low bushes. There are two wide borders on each side of the scarf and one wide border on the bottom. Each border is tightly packed sea shells, sea urchins, coral, etc. Each strip of border is different. What could all of these objects together mean? Maybe the things that survive on the earth the longest?

Collections Imperials is a collection of Chinese ceramic tiles

There is a big square in the center of the scarf, but turned an angle to make a diamond shape. Inside the diamond is a big circle with a Chinese flower motifs. Around the circle are hexagon/octagon jewelry box lids (?) or maybe they are just ceramic tiles, with different Chinese flowers. A few lids have horse exactly as are shown in this picture. In the four corners of the scarf are mid-sized squares, all with different tile patterns. The borders have strips of tiles, rectangles and triangles. Everything has a different flower pattern like this picture. It reminds of Pique Fleuri Provence, but wider strips of tiles, bigger flowers than Pique has.

Uno, you're back!! Thank you for the detailed descriptions. I think the one with Chinese tiles is calling my name.
