Mexican flower scarf with huichol yarn art and huichol beading - In the center of the scarf is a simple concentric circle pattern, with small and simple yarn flowers in the center. As we move out from the center,the yarn flowers become more dramatic, more layers of yarn, more 3-D shading inside the flowers. In one corner, the design is lots of tall and thin underwater sea leaves, in one corner it is tiny birds flying around flowers, in one corner there are lots and lots of little flowers, and in one corner there are two horses jumping towards each other. The horses are made up of huichol beads. At the tip of each scarf is a small strip/chunk of huichol beading with elaborate patterns. The beading looks very photo-realistic, as if a picture of the beaded horses was taken and just placed on top of the scarf.

what wonderful news. I see at least 2 that I "need"

Lettres d'erevan is the SE scarf from last yr. Pic from twitter.

Is Tyger Tyger the Shirley scarf? Obviously a reference to William Blake's poem, right down to the original spelling.

Are Cavalleria d'Etriers and L'Arbre du Vent combinations of existing designs? Their titles sound like the ones for "Happy Meetings" 90s that are half one scarf, half the other - like Plumets du Roy = Casques et Plumets + Instruction du Roy, Cheval Phoenix = Cheval sur Mon Carre + Mythiques Phoenix, etc.

So, might we be looking at Della Cavalleria + Concours d'Etriers, 2 Virginie Jamin designs combined, and L'Arbre de Vie + Peuples du Vent, 2 Christine Henry designs combined?

yes dear seton, is a Alice Shirley design and you have a beautiful back of the tiger that reminds to zebra pegasus stripes but the tiger is in 3/4 position looking back at us and she's sitting on flower "carpet"
really a beauty because the tiger is on a corner of the scarf so when tided can be very different depending wich corner you decide to use


lettres d'erevan is exactly the one you post, probably with different color combination

Cavalleria d'Etriers is exactly your description, 4 different stripes combined alternatively with Della Cavalleria and Concours d'Etriers

I found very special à l'ombre des boulevards and you can have an exact idea from the 90 silk of this season in this two pics
we just have to wait to know the color combinations
very excited from this design :love:
