Paddock in rose vif/bleu/jaune.
I'm sorry I cannot capture how bright the pink really is.

Anyone ready for a little more Tyger Tyger? I haven't made it to a store yet. But, a WONDERFUL TPF friend bought two;).( I don't know if you want to be incognito or not.). These pictures do not catch the vibrancy of the colors. I'll try again tomorrow. This is my most colorful scarf to date.:graucho:
This is utterly beyond wonderful, GG! I thought I had my cw all picked out when s'mom posted hers yesterday, butnow that I see this big purple tygre...

After GG's post of her purple tyger, I thought it was time to pay full tribute to the incredible words of William Blake. When I took the time to really READ the poem (which I hadn't done, since I was a college freshman) it amazed me how well the carré captures Blakes stanzas.

Tyger Tyger, burning bright,
In the forests of the night;
What immortal hand or eye,
Could frame thy fearful symmetry?

In what distant deeps or skies.
Burnt the fire of thine eyes?
On what wings dare he aspire?
What the hand, dare seize the fire?

And what shoulder, & what art,
Could twist the sinews of thy heart?
And when thy heart began to beat,
What dread hand? & what dread feet?

What the hammer? what the chain,
In what furnace was thy brain?
What the anvil? what dread grasp,
Dare its deadly terrors clasp!

When the stars threw down their spears
And water'd heaven with their tears:
Did he smile his work to see?
Did he who made the Lamb make thee?

Tyger Tyger burning bright,
In the forests of the night:
What immortal hand or eye,
Dare frame thy fearful symmetry?

Thank you Elaine. It does capture the poem so well. This is definitely the year of the tyger!
