Anyway, she might have developed some mental issues and I don’t take stand for what she said, but she made me suspicious after I had a very nice online consultation with Dr Lee and my sister.
So I know a lot about Korean doctors and I am far from naive.

Tie up to her bed when she is already suffocating?? That’s very horrible.

I have good feeling to him before the surgery too. He sounds and seems like he care about patient so much. So I never doubted the surgical plan with ridiculously large movement …

TFD have the history of exposing privacy and attacking botched patients in this forum. So I would stop it right here. I hope no more people make the same mistake I have done.

I really don’t know if all she was saying is true. I met with her because she warned me on Reddit after researching clinics. At that time, I just had the consultation with Dr Lee and because she was in Korea, we met to have coffee.
I wanted to see if she was real or just someone trying to discredit the clinic.

From my personal research at that time, I’ve put the Facedental on the top of my list and I’m usually highly suspicious. But then I realised that doctors can delete reviews online. Press releases are being bought and there is a lot of other fakery going on, so even if you do a lot of research, it’s tough and something could still go wrong.
I try to meet with customers when it comes to huge procedures just As Double Jaw Surtery for a family member.
There are many questionable doctors in the West as well and there are plenty of hidden accidents. So one needs to do a lot of research these days.
My sister has delayed her surgery for over 2 years until we find the very best option. I’m still dealing with some nerve damage from my Two jaw surgery and I paid over 100,000USD for it at one of the best doctors.
It looks great but the risk for this surgery is so high

I am glad you had a successful surgery. Wow this is very expensive. I am guessing the surgery was done in USA?

They can even brought press release? That’s worrying. I decided to find a surgeon worked in hospital. He showed me a 3-4 cases similar with mine and he said he will use customised plate during surgery. I saw one of his patient in person and she has good comments on him. But he is very aggressive to offer me revision in vline and double jaw surgery at the same time. Not many doctor would do something like that. I am wondering is that enough to trust him.

Btw is the girl you met satisfied with her appearance though?

Yikes.. I did my primary and revision v-line with TFD. I was a little worried because after my revision operation, there was a different surgeon in the elevator with me who rushed to examine my face. I had a bad feeling it was a ghost doctor who operated on me but I brushed it off.

My sister did not have double jaw surgery, yet.
She saw me going through it and doesn’t want my doctor bc I had some nerve pain from it, but I got exactly what I wanted. I’m very happy.

The girl who went to the Facedental looked …well…nothing special.
He’s a functional doctor not a Beauty Enhancer. He doesn’t quite understand that you need to customise a Surgery to someone’s face. He does the same for everyone and doesn’t seem to have an eye for esthetics. That’s what most basic maxillofacial doctors don’t really have unless they’re part of a plastic surgery clinic.
Many people don’t understand that. Maxillofacial surgeons are not trained in beauty but functionality and often use their own beauty ideas on patients (if they even consider it).
They don’t go for extremes that often make the real difference in creating a Wow Effect and Transformation.

And those doctors who are like that, often carry some really crazy hidden cases in the shadows that didn’t make it along the way- because they take the risk of being so drastic. Like suicides and lifelong issues for patients. I know what I’m talking about because my doctor was or is one of those - but I’ve discovered Quite a few of these hidden cases, one of them was an Arabic princess and the husband threatened to kill the doctor.
A co-worker who became a friend told me.
But then, these doctors experiment, so they’re often protected by high people in the government, so whatever they do, they stay on top.
I’m very pleased with my surgical outcome because it was so drastic. However, as I mentioned, after having surgery with him the second time( first I only had implants) and the crazy double jaw surgery where all implants had to be removed and replaced, I developed a nerve problem.
I also think these long general anesthesias do something to the brain - I didn’t feel entirely like myself for years after the 8 hour surgery and often felt confused or even depressed.
This can distort your sense of reality and you need to heal the brain with oxygen therapy and lots of vitamins. I wish I knew that before.

Would I do it again 😂😂lol after all I know today and also the awareness of envy from people…. Yes I would.

Dr lee is very friendly and kind when you first meet him
But if you have any issue with the surgery, trust me it’s not the same person. He will badly ghost you.
I had my surgery some years ago and I’m still traumatized from it…. The way the nurse and dr lee treated me when I woke up…. I almost died from suffocating because of the damage he did to my nose and he didn’t allow me to stay longer at the hospital. I had to go back home during a hot sunny day without being able to breath correctly. I almost died a second time……
I still see a psychologist years after this experience because of the traumatic experience I had.

Just don’t go there girls.. I’m not the only one to have been botched there

I don’t think dr lee is a real maxillofacial surgeon tbh because now I have breath issue, teeth issues, and my mouth doesn’t fully close.
I cannot eat an apple anymore I have to cut it before. My teeth are tilted now and my gum is damaged
It ruined my life.
Even my face doesn’t look symmetrical anymore. This surgery was the worst decision in my life.

I’m sorry you had to go through that. I definitely feel your pain. Plastic surgeons in general, I feel like, aren’t truthful bc they need money. I was about to get DJS as well, but opted to zygoma reduction and genioplasty, which ended badly. Hopefully you are able to find a better doctor who can fix your issue

Unfortunately I cannot get a revision because my case is too complicated and I never got the complete surgery details from dr lee. He ghosted me and I’m not able to know what kind of surgery movements he did to me.
Only American surgeon can do revision and they told me they need the surgery report with all movements to reverse all.
My case is desperate unfortunately.

Even the ctscan and xray he did are very bad quality and the other surgeons were not even able to figure out what he did.
Cheap scan engineering for sure. The ones I did recently are much better quality.

But my case is not the worst he did. I know a girl who got way more botched than me. She is trying to get revision too but it’s very expensive

I’m so sorry this happened to you! I sincerely hope you will soon find a resolution and a good doctor for revision.

It’s very hard to ask for a surgery report from Korean clinics. Almost impossible. But maybe you can ask for help from PS agencies and pay them a fee? These people often have better relationships with the local clinics so maybe they can pull some strings?

Just my thought, but I guess I would try all the ways possible.
