My problems are:

1. He gave every patient “the same korea style double jaw surgery”. My jaws are very very recessed now. ( look like toothless old lady + Concave mouth + no chin at all )

2. He promised to leave a gonial angle. Then he shaved everything and my jawline look very unnatural so he is also doing a bad job in vline surgery too.

It is not just the face dental botched a lot of people. I have been seeing people going to everm, or other famous clinic in Korea. A lot of them face similar problems like me. (Or even worser than mine as they have developed functional problems ) It is better to avoid all of these clinic. Go find a hospital or another country for djs.

The girl I met told me he’s full of himself because his employees are constantly praising him like a god, while they don’t seem to have a clue.
She had a chronic cough years after surgery with him because of the anesthesia.

I’m really sorry for what happened, will you get a revision? Where will you go?
Maybe I can help you in finding a better doctor?

i have to get revision now and it’s very hard for me. This surgery is expensive and invasive, I cannot be sure it will fix the problem with a revision.

First of all, the legend about dr lee not asking for review is wrong, he asked a review to me to get a 10% discount. I had to do it before getting surgery.
  1. When I woke from this surgery it was hell, the bed was not comfortable, and I was unable to breath correctly. When the swelling started I began to suffocate and had to ask help to nurses. The nurse at the face dental are rude as hell, they didn’t want to help me. I needed to breath by using a straw inside my mouth. Honestly I thought I would die..
  2. I finally survived, but was very tired, when I asked to dr lee to stay one more night he refused… I had to go home by himself during a hot summer. I almost died a second time…
  3. When I was home I felt good… this clinic traumatized me and I was happy to be home. But something was wrong with my mouth and I felt it. After several nights my lower jaw began to shift to the right side. And my bite was totally off. I sent several messages to dr lee who seemed to doesn’t care. It was hell because lower jaw always shifted to the right when I sneezed or slept.. it was really scary
  4. When I finally went back to the clinic and asked to dr lee about this he said there was nothing to worry about… which felt fake to me. I knew there was a problem and I couldn’t live like that. After watching the X-ray, I finally saw the lower and upper jaw was not aligned at all.
  5. I had to convince dr lee to do a revision on me because I couldn’t stay with a offset bite. He finally accepted. Getting another surgery one week after the first surgery is hell. I don’t know what kind of anesthesia he used but I had nightmares during two weeks. Worst anesthesia experience in my life
  6. I never knew what kind of movements he did to me jaw but my bite stopped to be unstable. However I was not able to breath correctly on one side of my nose. Swelling was terrible and I was not able to breath, I got in a deep depression.
  7. when back home I had to wait until a year to deflate and see the final results of the surgery, which are not good at all:
  8. -my face is no longer symmetrical, one side of my face look lower than other side, even my eyes looks assymetrical now..
  9. -my bite is still not good, I have difficulties to eat and speak
  10. -gum has been traumatized and now I have recession
  11. -not able to breath on one side of my nose, I did a nose surgery in my country but it didn’t fix it.
  12. -i also have memory problem now (from second surgery nightmare anesthesia ?)
  13. After consulting few surgeon, most told me they don’t understand what kind of movements dr lee did to me and it has no sense, apparently surgical cuts are very assymetrical and unprofessional. Since I have no surgical details it’s hard to reverse this botched surgery. They also told me I could have joints problems in some years because my jaw have been badly rotated. I had a long face and he did the opposite movements that have to be done.
    One surgeon even told me I was not the first one to complain about botched surgery from this Korean clinic, and he had a consultation with another girl.
  14. I will regret all my life and I hope people won’t do the same mistake.
  15. On this X-ray you can see the offset bite and uneven cut from this so called « surgeon ». I also add a picture of me, suffocating with my straw while nurses were chilling(imagine almost dying when nurse in front of you laugh and speak)

I am so sorry about your experience and what you are dealing with..it is terrib. I can not even comprehend.. I really hope that you will find a sol to fix as much as Pisano for time to heal your soul..❤️❤️

I had travel to Taiwan and Korea (only for local hospitals) for consulting the revision djs. I have settle down with the surgeon at this point. And I will have the revision djs very soon thanks to the stupid doctor.

If I had found these great doctors for my first jaw surgery, it would be similar price or even cheaper than what I paid to tfd.

Gosh these doctors only care about money. He don’t even stitch my nose to prevent nose widening during the surgery. Perhaps he don’t know how to do it. His stupidity is surprising.

I have regretted so much not go to Taiwan for my djs.

Be careful if these clinic offer to give you something like an impaction + clockwise rotation. It usually ends up not well.

I have seen people shared their photos after their surgery in everm. Looks quite recessed. But it is just my personal opinion. Perhaps some people likes this style.

Yeah, the girl told me some real horror story of this clinic before I wanted to send my sister there. My sister decided not to go there obviously, but first, I thought the girl was exaggerating.
She said she was treated poorly after waking up from the anesthesia and they tied her to the bed because she screamed that she couldn’t breathe. They said she was being too aggressive and that’s how she later developed the cough.
At this point I thought she must be crazy.
However, a girl here named Jessica lala also mentioned how little empathy they showed towards her after the surgery. This girl also said her bad reviews got deleted everywhere. I have to admit, I did not believe her but I don’t know.

Anyway, she might have developed some mental issues and I don’t take stand for what she said, but she made me suspicious after I had a very nice online consultation with Dr Lee and my sister.
So I know a lot about Korean doctors and I am far from naive.

Yikes.. I did my primary and revision v-line with TFD. I was a little worried because after my revision operation, there was a different surgeon in the elevator with me who rushed to examine my face. I had a bad feeling it was a ghost doctor who operated on me but I brushed it off.

I really liked Dr Lee after the consultation, but well…
