Hi ladies I was looking at both this bag and the retiro, wondering if anyone saw and handled that one in store, how are they different besides the long v short strap, and the top being a little different?

they look almost identical to me!

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum and not even sure how to post yet. I just got the estrela mm last week I found this forum when researching it and trying to find pictures. Thank you all so much for sharing your photos and helping me make my decision! I moved into public interest work 5 years ago and gave up the income that I used to have for my guilty pleasures. So this is my first bag in 5 years and I loooove it so much Hope you're all enjoying yours too!

if so, what made you choose the estrela over that bag because to me they look SO similar?

I just bought my estrela last week. I wanted to look at the estrela and retiro side by side too, but my store didn't have the retiro pm, only the gm. They're both beautiful, but I usually carry my bags on my shoulder. With the estrela, I liked that you can take off the longer strap and the handles of the estrela are still plenty long enough to fit comfortably on the shoulder. Without the shoulder strap, the retiro can only be carried as a handbag. Also, the estrela mm is a little bigger than the retiro pm.

The Retiro is very structured, boxy, and almost hard. It looks fabulous on though. I love it and have added it to my wish list!!!

Estrela GM is out of stock from LV.com. And, because it's new, was only available in flagship stores. I had to search all over, finally found one at Rodeo Dr Boutique...just bought it!!! I'm SO EXCITED!!! In the Club SOON!!!
