I also got Estrela on the 1/1/11. I love that is zips closed, also the handles are a great length and I don't have to use the long strap. I have been carrying her all week and the handles so far do not fall off my shoulder.
Only thing that annoys me just a bit, is the long inside pocket gapes open all the time, but I'll get over it.

Apologies for crappy photos.
I have removed the long strap as I will not need it. That is the great thing about this bag, with the Palermo I needed the strap to use on my shoulder.

What sizes are your bags, ladies? They look MMish to me though I've not really seen both MM and GM together to compare..

Thank you Marina! Gosh in that side-on pic of your three beauties together the Estrela certainly looks a lot bigger, it has greater capacity than I expected from the front-on pics. Thanks for taking those shots, it really helps put the size into perspective!

I love soft-bottomed bags though like this as they can take as much as you need them too, yet smoosh up against you when carried on the shoulder. This bag is just PERFECT. I am head over heels for it! :love:

Looks like the handles can fit over the shoulders comfortably....this bag looks very functional! But somehow I'm missing the pleated detailing of the previous bags (Palermo, etc)

Yeah, a new member :smile1:, the long pocket reminds me of how much it annoyed me in the Galleria GM

Mine is the MM too...they only had the one size in my bag the day I got mine...but 2 sizes in the Retiro

It does sit nicely on the shoulders !! The Siracusa has pleats...very pretty
