I have it in Noir and don't have any problems with the shoulder straps falling or slipping off. I LOVE this bag - it's my absolute favorite over my Neverfulls and all the other LV ones I have. It's incredibly comfortable to carry on your arm, shoulder or cross body.

i didn't find that the straps fell off but i hated the shoulder strap! i too bought the estrela in noir took it home then returned it the next day. when you use the long shoulder strap it makes the bag cave in and "wrinkle" the top...if you know what i mean. so if i cant get use out of a bag the way its intended then i pass on it. i ended up buying the pallas shopper in red instead and i love it! hope this helps 
I wasn't looking for and Estrela, but when an LV employee had an older model one (which I like better) that had NEVER been used, I bought it. Should arrive tomorrow or the day after. I will then post mod pics! 
I realize this thread is a few years old, but I wondered how your bag looks now?? Did you treat the vachetta when you first got it, or leave it as is? Thanks

your estrela looks beautiful. can you please let us know how you like it. i am thinking about a preloved old model estrela and would love to hear pros and cons.
Thinking of using an Estrela as a "work bag" and want a GM but it's difficult to find in preloved condition..the MM is much easier to buy but feel it may be too small to fit a 13 inch laptop and a thick planner, file folders,etc. Is the MM big enough for my needs? Pics would be greatly appreciated if you use your estrela as a work bag!!
I have always wanted one and finally the boutique i shop at got one and i will be trading in some items and will be picking it up this weekend. super excited ... trading in my neverful gm ... the handles are to small and hurt ... this one should be much better.!

Hi everyone, I have been debating between the neverfull mm or the estrela.
I heard the straps are more comfortable on the estrela plus there is a zipper. Does anyone have any ideas on what I should choose and why? I'm a student and think the estrela is the better bet, except it's discontinued so I'm not sure how it would look on me. I'm 5"3. thanks in advance

I recently purchased a pre-loved Estrela mm (old model). I am very pleased with the bag. It is practical with a zipper top, smart looking, and very well made. I like that it is an unusual style and I won’t see many others carrying it. I had been considering the NF MM but this one is nicer, if you can find one.
How are you liking it so far? can I ask if it’s heavy empty? And what year is yours from? Thanks!
I love this bag!! No regrets. It is roomy and a good travel bag because of the zipper. The shoulder straps are very comfortable. It looks structured but is slouchy, which makes it more casual which I like. It is a timeless style which I plan to use for a long time.
