Hi everyone!! I was wondering if any of you lovely members could help me out. I fell in love with either this bag or the retiro today when I took my son to Sesame Street Live. This woman in front of us had an absolutely stunning LV that I quickly assumed was the retiro. However, now that I am perusing the forum, I've come across the Estrella, and I am not so sure. Could any of you point out the difference between the retiro and estrella? The thing that struck me the most was the size~ the bag I saw today was much larger than it appeared online. TIA

They used to make Estrela in GM size, maybe that was the one you saw. I do not have the Retiro, but here are some things I have noticed. The Estrela does not have feet, and Retiro does. The double handles are longer and thinner on the Estrela and can feet over the shoulder. The Retiro you can only wear on the shoulder using the long strap. Estrela's strap seems to be longer and could be used crossbody especially if you are not very tall. Estrela MM is larger than the Retiro PM, feels less structured, not as rigid. It is also a little cheaper. :)
I would go for the Retiro if you prefer handheld and with Estrela if you like shoulder type bags.

Thank you so much!! Now I am trying to remember if it had feet or not...and I can't!! She was wearing it with the longer strap, but I do believe the handles were longer than the retiro, so I am thinking it's the estrela. Thanks again! I will have to check it out the next time I'm in LV

I bought this purse awhile back and returned it because I thought it was too big for me. But I have been stalking the clubhouse ever since. I think I need to rebuy it again....

It is hard to say from this picture, it does look on a larger size, but from this angle and so close up almost any bag probably would. Do you have other pictures?
I have seen it on petite girls and it looked nice, as it softens and slouches it will look smaller.

Thanks! I'm sure my belly gives that illusion that purse is big along w my big belly! I will try and take a another picture ... I just wish there was more MOD pics on petite girls with the Estrela.
