I finally brought mine out again, I've been using my Portobello the last 3 mos. Its a great bag, very roomy and comfortable. I bring it to work and then keep a smaller bag inside, chanel halfmoon woc, for when i go to lunch or just run an errand. Mine hasn't really aged much because it has been mostly stored. I need to use more though, the handles don't even really feel broken in, they still are stiffer than the handles on my stresa. I like when they become real soft.

Hi, ladies! I'm new here...made my first visit to the LV boutique yesterday intending to try out the Neverfulls and really, really liked the Estrela MM. I am looking for a glam "mommy" bag and am wondering if the Estrela MM would work for this. I will have a 3 year old and newborn this summer. Most likely will not need to carry bottles, but will need to fit diapers, wipes, change of clothes, snacks for toddler, etc. Should I consider the Estrela? If I got a Neverfull I was going to get a GM most likely (I'm 5'9" and a size 12ish).
This is a very roomy bag and very comfortable to carry. You can also wear it crossbody when you need your hands free. I think it is way more glam than Neverfull, much less common and has a zipper closure. It looks reallyt nice when the vachetta patinas as well.
It does have a lot of vachetta, so it depends if you would worry to "ruin " it. Also the inside of the bag is light microfiber lining, so you might want an organizer to protect it.

The estrela fits a lot. Though, I think the strap is kind of short to wear cross body and I'm 5'1. That's also what a SA told me. It's possible but I think looks a little short. I do though find it convienent at times to carry by long strap on my shoulder. I like more than neverfull, much less common and I like having a zipper. Like someone said though it does have a lot if vachetta.
A totally mm may be a good bag too if you prefer less vachetta.

I think both are beautiful and very similar styles.
If you like handheld - go for the Retiro.
Estrela feels more comfortable to wear as a shoulder bag though in my opinion.

Does anyone know if a 15 inch laptop would fit in the Estrela MM? I need a bag for work and I missed out on the Retiro GM as it is completely sold out. Then I saw the Estrela MM and it looks great.

I had the Estrella MM and sold it for the Retiro PM which I absolutely love. They are both gorgeous bags but I like the straps better on the Retiro as I always ended up carrying the Estrella by hand because one strap kept falling of my shoulder. Retiro is more structured, both bags hold quite a bit though the Estrella can hold more. Hope this helps
