You're really selling me on this. I always thought about buying a PS1 Medium because it's a similar size and vibe as a Bal City, but I wasn't sure if it was a passing trend. You can really find them pre-loved at steal prices now so it's so tempting.

The PS1 Medium in Smoke was my first step down the rabbit hole of pricey bags. Found it at Nordys Rack, bottom clearance shelf in the back, and I had a freshly minted Nords CC. I don’t remember the price, but it was somewhere around $600. I had never spent that much on a bag in my life. I think I walked around the store with it for an hour before I finally took it to the checkout. I remember one of the sales folks saying “Oh, you found the Proenza.” I used that bag for months, then bought a Midnight on FP, it was new with Barney’s tags on it. Those were my daily bags for a few years. I have 2 Bal Blackout bags that I bought later, and used those for a couple years. Both styles are lightweight, easy to use, functional and not flashy. I feel good carrying them anywhere.
