Hello! I posted this in the Is This Normal thread, but thought I’d ask here too since it's about my new Alma BB. I'd love your help on this Alma BB Epi purchased from the LV site. At first, I was pleasantly surprised as it's MIF and I couldn't spot any obvious defects.

But then I noticed there is a sizable air gap/bubble on the bottom between the inside lining and outer Epi leather. Is the lining supposed to be attached flat/flush to the bottom? On the sides, it's totally flush and smooth .

On my bag, there is an air bubble of about 1/2 inch all throughout the bottom of the bag and I have to push kind of hard with one hand on the inside and the other hand from outside the bag to get the two materials to meet/be flush. I wondered it I was being overly picky and asked DH. He also said there seemed to be .5 inch gap between the lining and the outer leather.

Is this a defect that shrinks the interior space of the small bag even more? What do you think? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Congrats on the gorgeous Alma bb! I have a MWT Alma bb and it has the same gap between the lining and the leather base. It's not flush and It's normal :) enjoy your bag!

Thank you so much!! I get so many compliments on the yellow and I do wear it all year long! Such a bright happy color! Go for it if you can :loveeyes:

It’s sad that I had to exchange my alma bb in Sunflower today as the glazing has cracked within less than 6 months and only a handful of uses. I had the option to send it for repair and wait 14 weeks or exchange it for another bag.

Although I love the bright pop of color, I chose to exchange as I have two other alma bb bags. I got the Neonoe BB in Indigo Safran, still with a touch of yellow.. Now, my alma bb indigo has a twin!

Farewell my Alma BB Sunflower! The upside is, at least I have more variety in my LV collection..

You are right that pop of saffron really adds something special! Always good to have variety. Glad to hear you are happy at the end of the day.

How many of you have multiple Almas BB? I have the DE one and just bought a Speedy B in empreinte, but I keep thinking about swapping the Speedy for another Alma BB, this time in black epi leather.
