Thank you. The monogram is a lovely classic too but the galet is indeed a beautiful color and epi leather Alma is so low key and still has this iconic silhouette. Epi leather is also really durable.

You really can’t choose wrong with any of these Almas as they are so versatile and easy to match with many outfits.

Loving all the new Galet Almas. I’m trying to decide if I want to get it or hold my breath for an Hermes Evelyne 16 in etoupe. This thread is swaying me towards the Alma. The only thing that is making me have second thoughts is that I watched a YouTube video saying one annoyance about the bag was that the top handles tend to stand up when worn crossbody. Is it super noticeable?

Hi ladies! Keep going back and forth on the Alma BB in DE for years, but recently I've been thinking about it again A LOT. Just wondering though how soft and flexible the BB is with canvas as opposed to leather? Is there a big difference or not much? TIA! :smile:

I have the Hermes Evelyne 16 in Noir and I absolutely love mine but still want an Alma BB. They are so different one is casual and all soft and smooshy butter leather and the other is more structured. The Evelyne in Etoupe is gorgeous. Which Alma would you get? I think the straps doesn’t stand up but rather are a bit lifted when worn xbody. It isn’t that noticeable as I’ve never thought about it when I’ve seen people wear theirs

I was thinking about getting the Alma bb in galet. So staying in the gray-ish family. I’m also not loving how the current etoupe has a contrasting navy strap as opposed to one that matches the bag on the Evelyne. Went ahead and also said I’d take a black one but I already have so much black and have my heart set on a gray bag. So I think I’m leaning towards the Alma BB.

Yes totally get you, I also wish the Etoupe came with same colored strap. The navy doesn’t really match the light Etoupe colour.

I am too looking at Galet alma but trying to do some research on how Epi Almas wear. Also considering the Celine Belt bag in Pico size. They do fabulous greys.
