Is the gold hardware on Epi Galet as shiny as that of the ebene Alma or is it more like Speedy hardware? It is a pretty and intriguing color
Sure seems like it. Though most of them will just own it for a month or so then sell it or exchange/return right away
lolIn my opinion the hardware on galet Alma is shiny yellow gold. My DE Alma is almost three years old and the hardware is not as shiny anymore as it used to be so it’s hard to compare.
something similar happened to a bag of mine but when the leather will get patina and gets a bit darker it won‘t be that much visible. In any case of a stain I would leave it alone and don‘t treat it with anything.
I understand your concern but things like this happen because Vachetta is delicate when the bag is new but with patina it won‘t be that delicate.

I am currently debating whether I should get an Alma BB in DE before the expected price increase. Could you please share your experience, whether there are any specific quality or wear and tear issues, which are common for this bag (in this print) and should hence be expected?
Another question would be, do you rather style the Alma with dressy or elegant outfits or do you also wear it with jeans, sweatshirt and sneakers? I'm asking because I rather wear casual outfits and am not sure how well it will go with them.

I love your Alma bb collection! Do you think the galet more grey than beige? Regardless, it’s a beautiful neutral color and I love how Epi looks with Gold hardware!
Does anyone use a strap extender with their Alma BB? I received my Galet BB today. It’s so beautiful but I’m plus size and with the strap crossbody the bag hits about mid waist and is not flattering or comfortable. Trying to figure out ideas to make this work before I return. It’s so beautiful!

I've never tried using a strap extender. But I purchased mine with the intention of wearing it as a shoulder or handheld since I don't like wearing a crossbody bag. Is purchasing a separate long strap an option for you?

Is anyone able to measure the length of their strap for me? I'm wondering if the Galet strap is shorter. A friend of mine had a photo of her black episode Alma BB and we're similar sizes and hers fit much nicer. She doesn't have the bag anymore and couldn't measure the strap. The website says the strap drop is 22", the same as the Empreinte Pochette Metis, which fits me perfectly.
Hello, I also measured the strap drop to be about 22 inches. I tried hanging the bag on the door knob and measured from the top all the way to where the clasp attached to the hook of the handle. Hope this helps.

I think it’s more like light taupe. The color is somewhere between light beige and grey.
I have a Monogram shawl in Verone and it’s very similar shade to galet. The Logomania scarf is also in ‘Verone’ but it is darker color that has a green undertone.
