The second Cupid I received came with a broken hw. I carefully checked the replacement that came to make sure nothing is broken. I dot think the tassels are fragile. I'd be more worried about the hw though.

This is one of my favorite bags that I own. The leather is not paper like at all. It is thicker than most RM leathers out now. It is really soft and pillowy. When it is unstuffed it looks like a melted pool of leather. And the antique silver hw is the cherry on top. (my fave hw)
