Look back a few pages in this thread. I have a comparison pic posted. They are very similar in color, eggplant is a little darker with less pink. I returned the eggplant because I already have raspberry but eggplant is gorgeous! A very deep purple wine color.

REVEAL OF THE YELLOW CUPID FROM EBAGS..... Pix first, then thoughts.
First I must say that I'm absolutely shocked at how much I love the color. Even better IRL. The leather is great, soft yet sturdy and not cheap feeling at all.
2nd, as a non-fan of GHW (even lghw), I'm very impressed at how toned down and neutral this gold is. Still not a fan and would rather it be silver, but not enough of an issue to change my mind on the bag.
3rd. Straps and pockets. I do miss the back pocket, but the front and sides will suffice. If you've never had a Cupid then you're lucky bc you wont miss it, but I love my external pockets. Why'd they remove that one anyway? It's not like it made space for something else. Now the handles. This one has me baffled. Everything else about this Cupid is the same as the pink one I got from the OSS, except that the handles are too short to even consider wearing over my shoulder. See 3rd pic. I put a regular 16.9 oz dasani bottle against the handles for perspective since I don't have a tape measure handy. My pink Cupid handles are at least 3 inches longer, maybe more.
Bottom line, my only issue is handle drop which I'll play around with for a few days but 99.9% sure it's a keeper!

All these gorgeous Cupids lately. Not sure how much longer I'll be able to resist.
