caren, ITA with eehlers and baglady - it look to be light gold!! and quite the chameleon!! it's like the light gold siggy hw - looks gold in some lighting and silver in others!
Does the tag say volet? I bought violet from endless but the tag says viola and now both Amazon and Endless only have viola.

oh and i agree, the light gold with the purple color is really sweet! the bag photographs very blue. i absolutely cannot, however i may try, capture the true color of this bag. i just went to amazon and you are right, the color now says viola but the bag pictured is the violet. that violet leather has that sheen to it whereas the viola is more matte. very confusing...and now its pretty hard to say what they have in stock...and lord knows the customer service people wont know. hmmmmmm. if you want one id say order it...you can always return...and im sure viola is beautiful too...just looked a bit more scratchable to me.
Got my pink cupid from the OSS and I'm wondering if anyone else has found the leather to be extremely scratched. It's really bad near the top on the front, looks almost stone washed everywhere else. I actually really like it but the scratches are quite annoying.

Besides the scratches does yours look distressed/weathered/stonewashed at all? Ugh I wonder if they'd do an exchange for me.
My teal one from the sale had scratches on it- I also want an answer to this question. 2/4 of my cupids came with scratches, but the two that didn't have scratches had different leather. the 2 that do have the waxy leather... I actually don't mind it because I feel like I don't have to be as gentle with it lol!

Some scratches can be lightly buffed out. I wouldn't use meltonian for this glazed leather tho, it takes away the glazing and dulls the leather (from my own experience)
Mine has some distressing, but nothing like what the teal leathers tends to have, for example. Yours doesn't look like it has hardly any
I tried to take a pic to show you, but since its past sundown here I had to use flash and it came out horrid.

Similar to purple shine, which I still love! But my electric grape mac was like that too. I still think your pink is a gorgeous color tho

I think I'm just going to forget about the scratches and enjoy it. I love the bag, love the color, love the length of the xbody strap, and ideally it breaks in/wears evenly.
