I think the Cupid is lighter than my BBW MAM. I wear both as shoulder bags with the longer strap.

I've never had a BBW MAM but I was just thinking yesterday how comfortable it is to carry, didn't feel heavy at all. I wear it by the long shoulder strap.

I just received the cupid bag in black with gold hardware. I don't know if this has been brought up on the forum before, but to me the gold hardware appears to be two slightly different types of gold. Has anyone noticed this on their bags? The hardware that links the straps to the purse is more brassy than the zippers and studs. I don't know if its the lighting I'm viewing it under, but overall the gold is a lot more brassy than I thought it would be.

After reading your post, I went and looked at more photos of this bag. The ones posted on the endless website clearly show the two different colours of gold hardware.

Yes, I've noticed this! It's barely noticeable on my raspberry Cupid but if you look close you can tell. I like the brass look of the buckles and studs better than the gold on the zippers and short handles, but then I generally prefer the look of brass. Looking at the picture of the black one above I think it's much more noticeable.

How does this gray compare to say, dior gray (my fav)? I guess I prefer smooth leather, as opposed to distressed/crackly leather (more casual looking). Would love to see a photo of your bag....:graucho:

Gorgeous!! I hit a snag with mine :sad:. The seller discovered afterwards that one of the side pocket's zipper pull is missing and can't find it...I'm still debating whether to back out of the deal. I've contacted RM to see if they could send me a replacement, but do you think it would be that noticable to have one missing? It's the left side so the missing one would be facing backwards when carrying it on the right arm as I usually do.

I don't think it'd be super noticeable. If it ends up being a big issue, I would just take the zipper pull from the interior zip pocket and use it for the missing one.
