Yes, this is exactly what happened! I paid full price for this bag too and I rarely do that, my only little bit of help was that my Discover card has 5% cash back going for dept store purchases for the next 3 months so at least my tax will be free. I took it out shopping today and kept glancing over at it in the passenger seat. :D

She's stunning!!!! I love all my RM Mams (I have3), but the Cupid is definitely my favorite!!!

I am waiting to see the Cupid in cement IRL - I've only seen photos online. Not sure if I like the distressed look in the pics, which is why I want to see it in person. I've seen the MAC in cement in Bloomies and it doesn't look as distressed (and dirty) as the Cupid in the photos. I prefer a cleaner, smoother look to leather bags but I like the combination of grey leather and silvertone hardware.

The picture on EBAGS is pretty close. Cement is really a dark, shiny grey, not dirty looking at all. I was hoping for more of the MOB or Stafanibags taupe color as I have other grey bags. The leather is very smooshy, which makes the bag spread out when you set it down. It does hang nicely when worn with the shoulder strap. Love the organization, the hardware, and the versatility.

It's gorgeous.I love my Cupid rasberry as well :-))

That raspberry color is beautiful LindaP! Please keep the photos coming.

In case anyone is interested... rebeccaminkoff.com has posted an online exclusive version of the cupid in Black with Antique Silver HW. I would seriously consider buying it except I want the Navy one...and I am trying to hold off on any purchases until the NY SS next month.

Ooh, thank you! I'm loving the silver on black. The raspberry colour is also gorgeous but silver/gunmetal hardware just better suits my style. I've been waiting to see the cement cupid IRL but I may have to consider this black with SH...likely a safer choice but I don't know if I can pay full price esp. for a bag sight unseen. I really don't need to add to my 'regret list' of sight unseen online purchases, but so are the trials of living where many brands aren't readily available.

I just got this one from MOB! It is lovely! Definitely not dirty looking although it has variation :) I was worried about the size, but it's just right!

I got one in raspberry and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Thanks for the tip about the black/silver cuipd Robinn I'm going to have to check it out. I ordered a black one from endless because of the sale and I"m not totally sure about it. The leather on it is matte looking so I'm not sure I like it but it feels like butter so I'm kind of conflicted on it.

A question for all you lucky Cupid owners out there - someone posted earlier that they found the Cupid heavier than a MAM, but is it as heavy as a BBW MAM? I'm tempted to go for it but want to make sure it's not too heavy for me (I find my BBW MAM a little heavy, but I think this also stems from my preference to wear it as a shoulder bag which it's not really designed for).

I don't think it's significantly heavier. I also like to wear it as a shoulder bag (as with most bags), and I feel like they're much easier to wear that way than in the crook of my arm.
