I have an old Epi petit noe and it is a lovely bag. Carefree and easy to match with my outfits. However, that leather tie is a pain.
Question for those who may know... Any rhyme or reason to LV releasing Epi versions of the Petit Noe? I love my Mono Petit Noe SO VERY MUCH and I'd really love to have an Epi version as well. I could be pre-loved - which I don't necessarily mind. But I'd love to buy new in a fabulous, fun color. What gives? Anyone have any insight/thoughts? I feel like a Epi Petit Noe would be my holy grail LV bag (though I wouldn't be angry with an Empreinte or Mahina verision - but now I'm really dreaming)

Epi Denim is available for the Petit Noè. Other than that, you’ll probably have to try Pre-Loved for now. I gave up trying to figure out the rhyme and reason for any LV releases. Newness seems to dictate, however. It seems that shortly after they offered Epi Leather, they released a lot of colors in the Noé and Petit Noé. And shortly after they released the Noé BB, they offered it in many Epi colors. Now, the Neo Noé is offered in an array of colors.....

Hi all,
I'm new here, because after a long time saving up (poor college student here) I finally ordered my very first LV item, a vintage Noe in monogram! Got it for very cheap too-- thanks ebay! I'm so excited for it to get here, even though I can't leave the house with it any time soon :P But since it is pretty old, there are some water stains on the bottom and hardware tarnishing. I would like to give it a good cleaning, but baby wipes won't cut it I don't think. Have any of you had any luck with leather conditioner, saddle soap, or even brasso for the grommets? I just don't want to do something that could potentially ruin a $400 investment. If I took it into the LV shop, would they clean it for me? once they reopen of course, which could be who knows how long...
Thanks for the advice!

Congrats on your new Noe! Post pics when it comes in. I wish I had cleaning advice for you but I'm sure you're going to love this bag. It's such a classic.

Does anyone own this or purchased recently? I did not know LV made mono Noe bb
It has been around a long time. It was online for awhile then they removed it. Even though it was not online (for at least 2 years), it could be ordered by phone/through CA. It just showed back up online about a month or so ago. The stalking thread has shown it available a couple times but it is not often and not many!

Thank you- I was wondering why only the DA was available for a long time and then a search brought the mono up as well to my surprise. I will wait for one to come available online or when stores open again.

Congratulations on your vintage Noe! Im a huge fan of them. The store will repair your bag but doesn’t do cleaning/conditioning treatments.

I’ve had great luck with water wipes and brasso (or the liquid bar keepers friend) to clean the grommets/hardware. Saddle soap is also fantastic. I’ve used both Apple and Cadillac leather conditioners but prefer the Cadillac. I do love the Apple spray to help protect the leather from future water spots. One thing—let the bag dry fully in between treatments. My Monogram Noe Had a Strong storage odor when I purchased and found a little diluted Simple Green helped to neutralize when baking soda failed. Can’t wait to see your new beauty when it’s all fixed up!

Wow, they gave you the wrong strap and meanwhile my brand new Noe BB is missing a little strap keeper so I can't use the strap without it looking off :(

I just got my brand new Noe bb from LV website and it is missing one of the little strap keeper as well. Are you able to get another one? Seems like it is easily to slide off...
LV cs won’t be able to get me an extra one, has to come from repair shop and they aren’t open now. So I can’t wear the bag without looking strange. I just have to wait, no place to wear it anyway...

It does have to come from repairs. Maybe in the meantime you can get one from Mcraftleather on Etsy. Their items look just like LV. That little piece is not expensive.

Thanks for the quick reply. Mcraftleather is the first place I thought of and unfortunately they no longer make those little pieces anymore [emoji20]
I do love their quality of LV like vachetta. Really appreciate your feedback.
