Wore my petit noe yesterday with dark denim. The dreaded blue transfer occurred on the vachetta. I’m going to have to wait until I get home (visiting family out of state) to address it. I can’t imagine how I would feel if my bag was brand new. I’m trying to just roll with it and not let stuff get to me but dang that patina was perfect[emoji22]

I’m sorry to hear that. Hopefully you’ll be able to remove it from the vachetta.

Did you ever pretreat it (I know it is used, but you can still do this)?

I did the patina champ method so I’ll try water first. Any suggestions would be welcome!
I don't use that method. On my brand new vachetta, I pretreat with Apple Garde spray. On my Metis Hobo strap, it came with a few water drops and slight dirt. I wiped it clean (and evened out) with alcohol free baby wipe. After it dried, I used Apple leather conditioner (never the cleaner). After that dried I sprayed with Apple Garde.

I have been using Apple Garde on various brand leather bags since about 2006. I have always been happy with the results. When I had a white leather bag, pretreating made it so much easier to quickly remove color transfer (with same method above). YMMV
