Hello all! Just dropping by to say that I really appreciate everyone sharing their love for this classic beauty. I don't own any LV piece yet but I've been doing my research for some time now and currently obsessing for the Noe's. Somewhat, the price of it is what holds me back from pulling the trigger. I really LOVE the classic look so I'm torn between getting the Petit Noe or (the cheaper) Speedy 25/30. Did anyone here share the same dilemma? What did you end up getting and what made you decide to choose it? BUT hey.. I'm definitely looking forward to owning of these someday (possibly) as my first ever LV bag.

Both are great bags! I picked the petit Noe as my first bag in 1998. I liked the history of the bag and was able to use it as a purse, grad school bag, etc. It's still in great shape and I use her. It's easy to throw your stuff in and go. I bought a few more bags over the years but felt my collection could not be complete without a speedy! I finally got one five years ago. She is beautiful but I only wear her to work occasionally and for date nights. I need to be hands free when shopping or with the kids. HTH. Hope you get one soon:)

I've been there too. :) did the mistake to buy a speedy 30 damier ebene as a first real designer bag. So the bag of my dreams (lusted for 5 years) turned out to be the most hated bag. Because: unpractical, annoying without strap, Everyone (!) has it as a first bag and therefore you see them everywhere plus fakes. I would totally recommend you to go for petit noe monogram. Its super nice and practical, it holds its value, not so many have it, its also effortless. Sure it doesn't fit to super elegant events but I'm sure you have something in your closet. ;)

I agree with you 100%.

Team Noe! The speedy is beautiful too but unless you opt for the Bandouliere version it can be heavy on your forearm after awhile (depending on how much stuff you carry in it) and if you don't carry it on your forearm it's handheld only. The Noe is so chic and you hardly see it around in comparison to the Speedy. :)

I thought I'd share this with you! I have started using the strap from my pochette accessorize on my noe bb to turn it into a shoulder bag. I am careful not to overfill it and just pack the essentials (just like I would with the pochette). It really looks like a mini petit noe! I bought her last year and she's starting to get a gorgeous honey patina. In LVOE
