MIF May 1995...purse is in great condition, lace was ok but I tied knots in it and now they are torn :(. I plan to replace the lace soon. I love this bag. It's a great size, my samora organizer for my speedy B 25 fits in it perfectly. The color makes me happy. I plan to use it as my spring/summer bag. I switch it out with my speedy because I just love that little speedy!

You tied knots on the ends? And what tore? You can get new laces...it'll be good as new :) congrats on your bag and slider!!! Love those sliders. They're one of the best parts about this bag design! LV needs to catch on and add them to their latest additions of noes...haha that'll be the day

I got a petit Noé a few years ago and loved it ....until I stored it away and now the shape just isn't that appealing :( ! How do you guys store it ? Do you fold it up in the dust bag? Or do you stuff it to keep its shape ? What are your ways you keep the Noé looking beautiful ?

Stuff it with a pillow or whatever fills it up (scarves, lil blanket) whatever and leave it for a couple days. It should shape back up.

Do you think the slider will patina along with the bag? It looks great but I worry that it will stay the same light color while the rest of the vachetta gets darker. I just ordered the bb in DA. Can't wait!

I was thinking about that too. Its not vachetta so I think we'll run into the color differences between the leathers. Im still loving my bb...

It's weird because my original slider came to me darker in leather and then I ordered another one because I wanted the yellow stitching to match the bag. Here's the comparison photos of the two.. I guess we'll see if the light one patinas otherwise as the bag gets older I'll switch sliders ..

I thoroughly treated all the vachetta leather on the bag and also on the slider with LMB and then with Apple Conditioner and then with Apple Spray. I do this on all my bags, and they do not change color. I even treat the monogram canvas as I find this makes the canvas softer. It was pouring rain here a few days ago and the handle on my new Delightful got wet. It dried without one single spot in a matter of a few minutes. So I am not too concerned about the slider not matching the rest of the leather. I am just so happy to have it on my Petit Noe. It makes the bag so much more user friendly.

I just ordered two sliders (black epi and vachetta) from Leatherprince. I asked them the question about patina on the vachetta. The response is "The vegetable tanned leather will turn darker as time goes by..." That's good enough for me, although I realize that the different leathers will probably patina at different speeds and will not be identical. I'm so glad to have found this option thanks to you ladies!

That's good to know! I "tan" my Noes because I love dark vachetta so hopefully the slider will darken with time as well
