Okay all you hobo lovers, save room for a pic of my Caissa small tote. I, too, was wanting the hobo, but after seeing the tote in person, I found that I really liked it. It's quirky and fun, and suits me to a tee. ...and since I already have a Portobello and don't really need another DE hobo, I went with the tote. She's a cutie.
Just wait till you see her all dressed up with her red fur ball bag charm!

Personally I prefer the Caissa over the other bag. It's much less common in my opinion. Good luck. See what feels better to you when you try them on in store.
It's much less common because it is just launched, soon you will see many parading around with this bag and I believe more color variations will be released in the future.
I would like to know if anyone here is ready to buy this hobo bag but am not doing so due to no zipper?
I loved the design as soon the sa sent it, so ready to buy it but at the end of the day, i do not feel secure without a zip and it's been so long since LV introduce a real shoulder bag......
I own a NF in Mon monogram and although I absolutey love it (because of the fact that it is really unique with my initials and the colors I have chosen), I have to say the Caissa is much more comfortable then the NF, because of its strap.
I use my hobo since Saturday and I am totally in love.
Normally I would prefer a zip on a bag, but because the Caissa hobo sits directly under your armpit (with a little room to spare), you don't have to worry about safety. I think it is not possible for someone else to reach into the bag when you carry it on your shoulder. But this is just my opinion.
Yeah I originally wasn't going to buy the bag because of no zipper. But I have to say like others have pointed out when it's on your shoulder and you have it hugging you it might as well have a zipper. If you are holding it like a handbag yes it can get a bit less secure.
Love it though. So happy I got it. Love hobo bags in general finally happy LV has one I'm willing to drop money on.
Even if your holding it like a handbag it still would be tough for someone to take something without you knowing. It's not a open bag like the Neverfull. The top of the bag comes together when your holding it kinda like the Delightful.
