Grey hare visited during Rhubarb's breakfast tea in bed.
To explain about healthy foods.
And why sweets were not starpower fuel for a sturdy lifestyle.

Then bear learned about more items not to eat in excess.
Such as stone fruit & jagged bits of metal.

Soon, cat joined them & contributed his own views.
By staring meaningfully out to space. With an air of bored detachment.
"Cats are mysterious," Rhubarb decided.

All of this made for a very interesting morning.
After wise grey hare & cat left, bear put 5 more sugars in his teacup.
To better consider things.

Rhubarb playfully rummaged through my bayswater.
Finding a wallet among its various oddities.

Inside wallet was a single, creased rectangle of paper.
With number 10 printed around a green & unsmiling face.
He decided to help improve it.

Later, he hid goodies behind back. As surprises.
Including 1/3 empty honey jar, 3 smaller notes, 4 coins.
Bear delighted @ larger amount of things he'd produced.
From 1 paper rectangle. By entering a shop.

Seems teddy bears ignore math. Believing more is more.
Even after my flabbergasted sputtering & wild arm gestures.

Today, Rhubarb declared himself a wilderness explorer.
Which meant he borrowed a hat, garden clogs & clip-on thermometer.
Then stood in flowerbed for 45 minutes.

He hoped to lure some wilderness in his direction.
Using ginger snaps.
Which he'd stuffed into front of clogs before leaving kitchen.

Unfortunately, tasty ginger snaps didn't last long on bear's adventure.
And excellent plan failed.
No mountains or jungles stopped by for a chat. :(

Rhubarb is hopeless. [emoji23] did he see some wild animals on his adventure?
