Today, Rhubarb was a flower fairy.

And belived my silk scarf transformed him into classical Chinese dancer.

When draped over head mysteriously.

As bear practiced silky "water sleeves" movement, Jimmy the lizard ate a butterfly.

Which actually was cat toy. So not as tasty as hoped.

not a mulberry girl (oops) but i visit this thread to see what rhubarb and jimmy are up to
he is a very imaginative bear! [emoji177][emoji199]

Woah! I missed that one! [emoji1] Rhubarb does look very mysteriously.
Oh, and poor Jimmy seems to be always on the wrong end of things. [emoji1] What said the cat about the eaten cat toy? [emoji6]

Hehe--as so often happens, when animals eat things, toy reappeared later.
In sticky goo on carpet.

Bit of a wash, all good. ;)

Rhubarb paused to remember good things today.
Little things, which really are big things.
And stopped to smell some roses.
Unfortunately, also got a snoot full plastic lizard. As Jimmy scuttled through blooms.

Today, Rhubarb teamed with Herbert McFuzzy.
And saved former Christmas tree from certain death.

Man in my life insisted upon a potted pine to decorate, same as each December.
Then went to replant outdoors, same as each January.
Because helped to save trees & felt rewarding.

(Ironically, all have crisped into brown fire hazards. Days after moving outside.
And were chewed down by mowers, come spring.)

But 2 determined bears stepped in--to declare 2015's holiday tree, "a houseplant."
So that it might enjoy a richer, fuller 2nd life.
On windowsill, slowly being overwatered & dying from rot.

Hmm. ;)

maybe they want a shady spot for their picnic?
if they gave it a name then you know you are in trouble...

Rhubarb is busy at the moment! Hehehe. I didn't know that he has a beary friend, too. Hopefully no jealous tantrums at your house? [emoji4]

Herbert is about 15 years old. :)
Much wiser. Sleeps a lot in winter.
I often hope Rhubarb will learn--but, he follows unique directions with Herbert's sensible advice.

For example, helping trees.
This was Rhubarb's unique version, today:

Today, Rhubarb invited the lonely drinking bird to tea.
It bowed politely. Which impressed bear.

Bird continued to nod & bow, in a silent & wobbly way.
Without stopping to eat even 1 biscuit.
Which didn't impress bear.
Jimmy the lizard tried to whack annoying drinking bird with spoon.

At that point, tea was ended due to utensil danger.
So, Rhubarb ate all the biscuits. Just to be tidy.
And felt an angry whack from Jimmy's spoon.

glad they only had spoons and not knives to pretend they were knights
