HAPPY BIRTHDAY SHILOH!!!!!

Some of the world referred to her as the "golden child." Two of the world's most beautiful people came together as a family with two children. Later the couple welcomed their third child; an absolutely gorgeous baby girl. The world welcomed the much anticipated child of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt on May 27th, 2006.
Name: Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt
Birthday: May 27th, 2006
Famous for: Being the first biological child of Brad Pitt and girlfriend Angelina Jolie.
Name meaning: The first name, which is traditionally masculine, is pronounced SHY-low, and is of Hebrew origin. There seem to be many meanings for the name, ranging from "his gift" and "he who is to be sent," to "peaceful." Shiloh is also the site of a crucial battle in the American Civil War. The middle name is believed to be inspired by famous architect Jean Nouvel - a favorite of Brad's. The family calls her 'Shi.'

Siblings
:
Shiloh was welcomed by Maddox Chivan, now 5 1/2, and Zahara Marley, now 2. The family recently welcomed another son into their family, Pax Thien, 3 1/2.
Birth story: Shiloh was born in the evening by c-section, due to breech positioning. Brad and Angelina knew of the potential issue with the birth before the delivery, and flew Angelina's OB, Dr. Jason Rothbart, in to perform the surgery.
Shiloh was born in Namibia, meaning that she has a dual passport with the US, a connection to another country and her sister's birth place.
I was so happy to have Shiloh in Africa, that we could do that and for her to have a Namibian passport. She has that connection to another country and to her sister’s part of the world. I think that ties them together a little.
What they said:
Much scrutiny seems to have constantly surrounded Angelina and her love of adoption, leading people to question her affection for Shiloh. However, this month the news of Shiloh being planned came directly from her mother's mouth.
Before I met Brad, I always said I was happy never to have a child biologically. He told me he hadn't given up on that thought. Then, a few months after Z came home, I saw Brad with her and Mad, and I realized how much he loved them, and a biological child would not in any way be a threat. So I said, 'I want to try.'

After having Shiloh, and hence a baby that looked like her parents, Angelina decided that perhaps it was important for Mad to have a brother who was originally from the same place as him.
Something changed for me with Shiloh. We had Mad and Z, and neither looked like Mommy or Daddy. Then suddenly somebody in the house looks like Mommy and Daddy. It became clear to us that it might be important to have somebody around who is similar to the other children so they have a connection. Mad's been very excited that his brother is from Asia.
In a much scrutinized interview with UK Elle, Angelina talked about adoption versus biological. And remember the "blob" comment suggested by the interviewer?!
I think I feel so much more for Madd and Zee because they're survivors, they came through so much. In some way they're strangers because they had this life before me. Shiloh seemed so privileged from the moment she was born, I have less inclination to feel for her. I have the do the opposite from what I expected! I met my other kids when they were six months; they came with a personality. A newborn really is this...blob [the interviewer suggests]...! But now she's starting to have a personality. The three of them are very funny together, very loud and in each other's faces. She's grown up with Zee screaming in her face in the morning! But, yes I'm conscious that I have to make sure I don't ignore her needs, just because I think the others are more vulnerable.
Angelina on loving seeing Brad in Shiloh.
Sometimes I look at Shiloh and I see Brad—that's sweet.

On Thursday, Angelina Jolie was spotted at Marineland France, a large Aquarium, in a park with a variety of other amusement and recreational activities.

Dressed in head-to-toe black, including black flats and a black tank top, Angelina took along her and Brad’s two sons — 5-year-old Maddox and 3-year-old Pax.

Pax was seen feeding fish to the whales at one of the Marineland tanks.

Rumor: Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie stress individuality with kids' bedroom decor

The $3.75 million New Orleans mansion Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie share with their four children is about to see some major changes. A rumor published in The Mirror has the couple planning to decorate the bedrooms of Maddox, 5, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2 and Shiloh, 1 in tribute to each child's country of birth. According to unnamed sources:
Brad and Ange want to give the kids a strong sense of their own culture while growing up in America so they never lose the link to their past.
As such, Maddox's room will feature Cambodian road signs and a painting of a Cambodian village, Pax will wake up to drawings of a Vietnamese jungle, Zahara will be surrounded by camels, images of the desert and Ethiopian wall hangings and Shiloh's room will feature scenes from a Namibian village.
