Brad Pitt defended his woman's honor this weekend, calling her a "Supergirl." Pitt was waiting for friends at LA's Roosevelt Hotel and chatted with a Daily Mail reporter, asking him, "You know what it's like to be on the cover of every magazine, having your personal life dissected with all the lies, all the rubbish? It's hell. Certainly, pick on me - but why pick on Angelina? That's so low. She's such an amazing woman - like Supergirl, in every way." After a few moments, the actor quickly apologized: "I'm sorry if I seem to be taking my frustrations out on you." "So, how are things going with you and Angelina, anyway?" the reporter then asked. Pitt smiled and replied, "Oh sure, like I'm going to talk to you about that."

LOL! What an adorable Brad!!
the pics with his hat and sunnies look real goofy, but for some reason when Brad wears them it is so sexy..lol

I don't believe any of the bullcrap ppl say about the JoliePitts, I think they are a loving family.

Here are a few of the images I have.

I hated this couple when they first got together for what it did to Jen, especially when Ange. announced her pregnancy.

But I see them now and obv. it was the right move - look what they've done as a family. It is very cute. I don't think Brad & Jen wouldve ever had kids had they stayed together and it's obviously that that's what he wanted more than anything - and he's always with them!!!!

Congratulations to them both.

^^^^ I agree with you ladies. I really hated them at first. Jen and Brad were a perfect couple for me and I
wish they still were, but they're not anymore. She moved on and it's time we move on. He made his decision and only time will tell if it was goo or bad. He seems to be really happy with Angelina and kids.

Jolie to Change Son's Last Name to Jolie-Pitt
Apr 24, 11:27 PM EST

The Associated Press
LOS ANGELES -- Angelina Jolie has filed legal papers to change the name of her newly adopted son to Pax Thien Jolie-Pitt.
A legal petition filed Monday in Los Angeles County Superior Court states Jolie wants to change the 3-year-old boy's name so that it will include "the last name of her partner," Brad Pitt, and be the same as that of the couple's other children.
The petition was first reported by the syndicated television program "The Insider."
Jolie traveled to Vietnam last month to adopt Pax from a Ho Chi Minh City orphanage. The actress filed adoption papers as a single parent since she and Pitt are not married.
The pair's other three children are 5-year-old Maddox, who was adopted from Cambodia; 2-year-old Zahara, who was adopted from Ethiopia; and daughter, Shiloh, who was born to the couple last May.

Angelina Jolie (in St. John) announces the launch of Global Action for Children during a Washington, D.C., news conference on Thursday. The goal of the group: to raise money for orphans in developing countries. "Their education is an investment in our future," Jolie said at the event.

Angelina Jolie has adopted three children from different countries, and now she's taken her advocacy global.

The actress, 31, appeared at a press conference in Washington, D.C., on Thursday to announce the launch of Global Action for Children, a group that raises money for orphans in developing countries.

"I am here to simply ask you to think about orphaned children not as a burden but as a great opportunity," Jolie said at the event. "Their education is an investment in our future. ... They have had to work very, very hard to survive, but when they are given a chance, they grow strong, stronger than most. ... The Lost Boys of Sudan are a great example."

(Jolie and Brad Pitt recently donated $100,000 to a clinic in the Sudan founded by a former Lost Boy, and Pitt executive produced a documentary about the boys, God Grew Tired of Us.)

GAC, which aims to increase U.S. funding for orphans in developing countries by $2.5 billion per year, is notable because it's non-partisan: One of the organization's key proponents is former ********** National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie.

Earlier on Thursday, Jolie and GAC executive director Jennifer Delaney met with top leaders at the State Department, including Assistant Secretary of State for Educational and Cultural Affairs Dina Powell and Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy and Public Affairs Karen Hughes.

"It went very well," Delaney tells PEOPLE. "We talked about how there is such a growing need to help children around the world. We talked a great deal about universal education and orphans and vulnerable children, so I do think there's some receptiveness there to this issue."

Jolie and Pitt are staunch advocates for humanitarian causes, and have spoken out on issues including the genocide in Darfur and rebuilding efforts in New Orleans. Last year, they donated $1 million to GAC.
