Picked up the new borough bag in saffiano leather today in Sydney store. Compared to my first borough (smooth leather), I really like the saffiano leather, scratch and worry free. The new length of the strap also a plus. Bonus added cuteness with the turn lock :)
Enjoy!

I love saffiano leather and how easy it is to care for.
It looks awesome on the borough bag !

I am contemplating purchasing the warm retro grey glove leather Borough from Macys (as they have it on sale). My question to those who own this bag-is the leather durable?
Is the shoulder strap an issue?
And to those that have purchased Coach from Macys-Does Macys supply a dust bag? and pack the bag well? (I ordered a wallet from them a few years ago and it arrived in an unpadded envelope -just thrown it :nogood:
I was trying to talk myself out of a Borough since the Fall when they came out -just saw a woman in Starbucks with the warm grey borough and have coveted it since!

:confused1: Strange how they spelled "BOUROUGH" different on this tag
.
The spelling is strange... I can't think the last time I even used the word 'borough' in Australia unless I was referring to New York!

I'm not sure if bags are re-tagged in Australia. I haven't been to the Coach store in Sydney for awhile but I know they would put stickers on tags - exactly like those you used to see on tags in the outlets in the US.

I have 3 Boroughs in the retro glove leather and love them!!! I don't really care for the straps so don't really know if its comfortable to use for long periods of time.I have ordered Coach from Macy's before and usually they are wrapped to the nines with lots of padding. I actually ordered the camel color couple weeks ago and it also was listed at $418 on the web but I called a store directly ( as they honor all kinds of discounts the web doesn't) and ended up paying $270 and change including taxes...it doesn't matter where the store is located , they will ship the bag to you (the store I called was located on the west coast as I lived on the east coast and when I decided to purchase the stores here were closed but with the time difference they were still open there) :smile1:

Thanks for the information :smile1: Macys has it for $418.00 and Bloomingdales no longer has the retro glove leather borough in stock (I have been trying to get the best price on this).

Yesterday, Sunday, Macy's had grey retro glove tanned leather borough, orig. $598, for about $264 after all discounts & before sales tax.

I was able to purchase the Warm Grey Borough for 30% off online after various discounts. Not as cheap as $268.00  but pretty close. I am hoping I will love this bag but luckily Macy's now has free returns if I don't. Thanks for your help.
