I am so very much in love with my large black pebbled Borough. It fits my 15" macbook nicely, and I'm loving the size and look of the bag. I have had it since Christmas!
Question: Do any of you own the XL size? I'm looking at it online and would like to see it modeled. I think I would like the bigger size, as there are some days that mine is too small (crazy, I know.)
Would the XL be TOO big? Is it heavy for you?

One of our members has just ordered the XL-hopefully we'll see reveal. I do think the XL will be very heavy, and wouldn't use it as an everyday bag-but it sure looks marvelous!
If you see someone with one, would you let me know? I'm really interested!
I saw the XL in white edgepaint today at Macy's. It's pretty huge! I really like big bags, but for me it would be way too large to use except as a travel bag. I have a couple of large Boroughs that I carry as my purse, but the XL to me looked more like a luggage tote as opposed to a business tote. The size reminded me of along the lines of the Bleecker Weekender. I'm sure the fact that it was white made it look even bigger to me though, and to others maybe it would work for business, but for me it's just too big.

It is lighter than the pebbled borough. I ordered but returned (it was a tough decision). The earth color was beautiful but close to my grey borough. The handles are sewn in and did not lay down. The magnet closures were not strong enough for me. It is a beautiful bag but did not fit my need to use for travel as I need top to close securely. The strap was better as it had the connecting clips at the end of the bag instead of where the handles are on the regular borough. I think it's a great bag, just didn't work for me.
Yup, it's definitely lighter than the regular Boroughs. The weight depends on the leather used, and the amount of hardware involved-with the soft, I think you can hold a lot more than the zipped boroughs. I really love my earth soft, thinking of getting one in another color!

I think mine are in the middle-I haven't tried folding them down, but I don't think they stick up completely either. They kind of go off to the side I think? Hope that helps!
I have the large soft and I've used it a few times. With those sewn in handles I do think in time they could lay flat but when I've carried it on my shoulder they never seemed to get in the way. They just stayed up and it worked fine for me.
