I've been a Coach junkie since I bought my first right out of college in 1988. In fact, I still have my '90s Willis bags and paid about the same for them that Coach sells them for now.

All that to say, I've watched over the years as their prices have increased about triple what they were just 20 years ago . . .certainly not in keeping with inflation. The moment I read this post, it clicked. The whole idea is to create buzz . . .then sell the bags at the outlets for what they were selling for before the FP markup tripled and have people lined up to buy.

I love my Bar Stripe Borough and really would love to have a pebble in oxblood or black . . .but it just really bothers me that Coach isn't accepting PCEs for this bag but are sending them to outlets instead.

Was just on the Coach website and they are finally coming out with wallets to match the Borough. They are foiled like the front of the Burough. They have the black and cornflower pebbled and ones to match a couple of the color-blocked ones. They even have one in a smooth leather called walnut. I wonder if this is a new color we have to look forward too!

On the UK site, if you search for Borough, they have a micro mini in walnut. It doesn't have a pic, but I'm hoping this will be released over here.

I'm not on Facebook either so I asked my cousin. You have to go to Coach's Facebook page and "like" them then they will e-mail you a code. My cousin sent me the code but said that the offer said that ONLY SHE can use it. I know her e-mail address and everything which I figure is about the only thing they could ask me if I use the code.

Thanks, ladies! I've been contemplating an LV bag, and the boar skin or striped borough. If the FB event won't allow for borough discount, I don't think I'll be getting any Coach, so thanks for clarifying for me! 😊
