Well they said their "pre-treated" so that you shouldn't mess with what they've already had done to them. I only asked because I'm so used to my balenciaga bags I suppose, being that they're more delicate and I tend to worry more about them. But I have to say the borough leather seems sturdy!

Well, I just have to share because no one I know in real life would care-- or understand ;)

I ordered my medium Borough bag in Oxblood tonight. I am hoping to get one of the first generation bags. I like the strap without the adjustable length.

This will be my first Borough bag. If I only ever get one, I wanted it to be classic.

Though I do love the boar skin leather in a certain orange and white I saw in some pics along the way! But I'll be happy with Oxblood if it turns out this Borough is an 'only'.

Yesterday I picked a medium pebbled borough I ordered in store and it had the non-adjustable strap. Maybe you will get the same, good luck!

Question for you Borough owners. I have not wanted a Borough because I don't like all the zipper compartments. Is it possible to keep all my stuff in a single middle compartment? I don't carry a lot, but I hate digging around and fooling with zippers. I'm considering the medium size. What do you say?

Off topic but I have that scarf in your avatar, it's wonderful. Very light though so perfect for spring/summer.

I was the same as you on this topic, but TRUST me you will get used to all the compartments. I love it now actually! But yes, you could keep all ur stuff in one section if u don't have much.

I'm the same way, but I just love how this bag works! And if you really don't want to have anything to do with zippers, there's always the north-south borough that will be released later :smile1:. I believe that one is completely open-topped.

CONGRATS ! The oxblood is my favorite of them since it is so nice of a color and goes with a lot. I do LOVE the orange and white too, but wouldn't get to use it as much. I prefer the shorter strap too. Hope you love yours !

You can also use the divider compartments between the zippers; they actually hold a lot and you can access your items easier.
