Really lovely Beverlys, everyone!

Does anyone use their Bevs for their everyday bag? Mine is BevMM and I'm trying to get the courage up to use it for every day... I've only taken it out dining...

Lol, the MM is a total everyday bag! And it looks so darn cute! I have the GM and I rotate it regularly. As for your MM, I saw a stylish woman wearing it one day (with simple jeans and a cute top)...it looked so gorgeous that I almost ran into LV (I was standing right outside the store) and bought myself one. Wear that bag, rainrowan!!!

How are you, sugarcookie!

I've taken BevMM out and put a little moisturizing love on her :) I'll use her after the Halloween antics around here...

Here are a couple of current pics of the BevMM's patina and me putting my thunder thighs out there for the world to see. I'm 5' 4" and sz 18 so the bag looks a little small against my big frame. It is definitely more of a "medium" bag.

Lol, you're too funny rainrowan! Your Bev MM looks lovely (it's chic and feminine at the same time) and so do you! Now I'm really lemming for one but I think I have to get the Galliera for practicality, first.

rainrowan your bag looks great and not small at all on you...looks like a medium size bag great for everyday...mine you I only take mine out on special occassions as well...I use my speedy, tulum, ph and others over this one because it is so pretty...the patina is so perfect on yours...

LVpug, you need to bring out the Bev too. How is the patina on yours coming along?

I think I'm the only LV lover who likes the uneven patina look... vachetta can actually take a lot of touching; I haven't used mine enough times to make unique and interesting marks on it tho... maybe soon.

sugarcookie, I know what you mean by practicality. I try to buy all my bags with that in mind. I really should be on a ban but I'm still looking at LV (and others) all the time!

Hi,
I have seen Beverly MM's for sale with floppy handles. I have had mine for quite awhile and use it frequently but I can not picture how a handle that firm and structured gets soft and floppy. Do anyone else have a Beverly where the handle flopped down? I would really have to beat mine up to see how it could get like that, and I dont baby mine.:confused1:

Just found this club - I'll have to post pics of mine. But to answer the question. I haven't had that happen and I don't baby mine either. Granted I haven't carried it in about a year or so but the handles are far too structured to flop over in my opinion.

I've seen some pretty ghastly looking BevMM handles on eBay... I figure these bags were frequently hanging off a rolling suitcase bar for hours on end to make it warp to one side.

I think some owners may slip the handle inside of the bag (hard to explain, handle becomes upside down "U") and use a detachable strap thereby flexing the handle almost 180 degrees the other way. I have tried this and it is doable but would cause stress to the handle over time.

The one time my handle flopped was when I left it in a warm closet in its dustbag and accidently had another bag laid over it. The warmth of the closet must have made the leather more fluid, it was extremely floppy. I was able to straighten it again by taking it out of closet.

Hello All,

I am new to the site, and stumbled upon it while researching my next LV mono bag. I am torn between the Beverly GM and the Tivoli GM. Please help me decided. This is a tough one!

I saw a lady wearing a Beverly but with a long shoulder strap. I almost thought it was a new style. The detachable strap explains it.

I'd go for the Tivoli GM. I've heard from many that the Bev GM is a very heavy bag and not very comfortable on the shoulder. The Tivoli GM strap is adjustable so you can shoulder or hand carry it.
