Yes, the straps put together are way too long to use as a backpack so if you want to use the mini as a traditional backpack, you can separate the two pieces of each strap and use just one section: hook to top D-ring and thread the open end though the bottom D-ring and then secure it. Repeat on the other side. :)

Thank u ! Actually when I order a bandeau from my SA. about two months ago, she mentioned there will be a limited edition backpack coming out! She knows that I love small and cute bag, and asked me whether I wanna preorder it? So I actually received it before it's official launch date! It is really cute! This is the first time that I order something without seeing it IRL , but I am very happy about it

Hi Venessa, do you think the MM could fit on a man, even just on one shoulder? I'm looking for a baby bag backpack that both my husband and I could use. I tried the Josh and it is huge on me, but the Palm Springs PM my husband can't even get over one shoulder. My store didn't have the MM for us to try so I'm hoping for some feedback about the size working for a man before I order it!
I'm also thinking about that Palk or the Newport if the PS MM won't work.
