Not a question but not sure where else to post this interesting new variant of herbag, and there isn’t an “ode to herbag” at least not that I’ve found on the forum…saw this on the US website today. Looks so unique with the hobnail. Just wished they had embroidered the star designs rather than screen print

It's the mini version of the herbag coming next season! They're releasing mini versions of other bags like the Garden party.

I asked my SA about this today, as I love my herbag 31. It’s definitely a mini, but was told they don’t even have dimensions or anything yet, no information on it in their system. Said quote frustrating they put the pic on the website so people are asking about it, and they have no info to provide.

The Herbag is 20cm wide. The SM would have info as this was at podium for Fall/Winter 2024.

Hi everyone! I am looking into buying my second Hermès bag and I have been eyeing the Herbag 39 Messenger. I am a little confused though in what materials it comes in. The ones I saw popping up online were in the Militaire canvas, but in other Herbag styles I seen other canvasses as well.
Is there anyone that owns a Herbag in Militaire canvas? How is it holding up with use and is there maybe another canvas that is sturdier. Thanks a lot in advance! ☺️

Yes, it holds up extremely well after one year of wearing it almost every day and it's by far the most versatile hermes bag I have. You can also look up old herbags, usually it's the leather parts that shows the most wear.

If it had been a leather bag, I would've have to have it spa'd by now with the amount of wear. Besides, the canvas body is replaceable. I was very hesitant to get a herbag, but it's really an extremely practical and sturdy design. I now have two of them.

It also comes in H viking canvas which is just as sturdy.

Can we wash the canvas ourselves? Like, warm water and soap?

I don’t know if someone else answered but I believe I read this should be dry cleaned. I guess that means an expert dry cleaner vs your normal corner type place.

How do you find this info? I have a Viking canvas and was wondering how sturdy/stain resistant it is! Also wondering if I can flip it to be Sellier or if that’s a bad idea, will cause wrinkling, as someone up thread mentioned about a different canvas.

If it’s the Viking or the militaire canvas, you can flip it. The wrinkling from flipping the canvas was in reference to the coated canvas Berline herbag version. I have the Berline version and have not dared flipping it to the retourné way, especially since I love it for the sellier look anyways. So now I’m on the hunt for a different colorway in non coated canvas to be able to flip it lol.
@saugababy has a beautiful red herbag that she has posted with sellier and retourné version ❤️

I ordered my first Herbag at a SO Herbag event. The enamel hardware is orange (bad photo) and not normally offered. There were colorful canvas choices but I wanted everything black. Surprisingly the tab wasn’t black and I was told it wouldn’t have a horseshoe stamp. I’m hoping I will love this bag and use it as a travel bag so my Evelyne will get a rest.

My question is, has anyone seen or have a herbag with a black pull tab or are they all Fauve no matter the fabric or leather color? Sorry if this has already been asked. Thanks in advance!
