Hi everyone, I am new to this thread and the passion in agenda shown here resonates well with me.

I am struggling to decide between getting an LV canvas agenda cover, a Chanel caviar leather agenda, and an Hermes Globe-Trotter Agenda.

LV canvas agenda cover seems to be the most resilient of all and the refills are comparatively more accessible. I would prefer Epi leather over monogram canvas but bigger size Epi leather agenda cover seems hard to come by.

I don’t presently own any leather goods made by Chanel, so has no experience with Caviar leather. But the quilt stitching and the pebbled texture look mesmerising to me. The only concern is that it might be too flashy for the legal profession.

The Hermes Globe-Trotter is in Mysore goatskin and I have heard that it’s excellent when it comes to resisting daily wear and tear (I am rather clumsy and don’t baby my leather goods after the first few weeks).

Another consideration is the ease of getting agenda refills. It doesn’t seem like there are many third party options for Hermes Globe-Trotter, but it also appears that Chanel refills (both Chanel and third party) are equally hard to source.

I would appreciate any advice you could give to help me in resolving this dilemma.

It was a bit tight but I used my magical ‘leather stretch spray’ to make it fit :smile: I absolutely love it! Happy Friday, agenda LVoers

Wow. So happy you got the pen and now your cute agenda is all set to welcome 2021.

In a week or so the agenda loop will stretch to accommodate the pen and then it'll be easier to pull and push the pen in.

Oh something else to note is that with a pen in the loop, it might be better to have top and bottom tab dividers so they don't get bent against the pen.

Hi hun :smile: I appreciate your tips! I only use my bookmarks from previous years so there should be no rubbing issue on my pen. Love it so much with my agenda. Thanks again! :hugs:

The best part about this roller type pen is that they don't accidentally open up in bags. So you can carry around the agenda without worry.

Use it in good health my dear! :hbeat::hugs::drinks:

I don’t have a Chanel agenda but I have several Chanel items (caviar & lambskin) and the Caviar leather is tough, but it is leather & can still scratch. I can’t speak to agenda inserts at all.

For Hermès, I have the Ulysse PM nit the Globe Trotter, but inserts for either are pretty slim on the 3rd party market. I buy Hermes inserts for mine. They’re expensive, but the paper is buttery & it’s less of a hassle.

For LV, I have a Desk Agenda & a GM Agenda. I acquired the GM Agenda from The RealReal & it’s Epi Leather. Check the consignment shops & some Facebook groups because I’ve seen quite a few. As far as the inserts go, I’ve been able to get the from a ton of places since LV uses standard sizes.
