I feel like the stores will open up soon. I read somewhere that a store opened up curbside in Dallas (don’t remember which thread that was lol). I would hate for you to lose a perfect bag just for a strap :( Haven’t seen much restocks of the Favorite MM recently either! :confused1:

I hope you all don’t mind if i ask for some advice!


I have both the favorite in mono and da and for some reason I’m debating on keeping the da.

I have a da nf and i mostly wear dark clothes. I still have a few days before i need to return it but i don’t know! It just nags at me to make a decision. Any advice?

@pinky7129 — DA is such a gorgeous print! I’ve debated on purchasing the DA in PM size, but I saw a review on YouTube that the thread on the back of the bag does tend to get dirty eventually. Maybe that is something worth noting since you say you wear dark clothes for the most part.

I’m sorry I can’t advise based on experience :sad:

Hello everyone!
What do you think of Favorite MM vs Pochette Metis? I have a Mono PM.
My SA put me on the wait-list for Favorite DE but I'm still on the fence whether I should get one because:

1) the bags seem to be very similar in what they can fit - at least in my case (phone, wallet, keys, foldable shopping bag - I rarely take sth else), so I'm afraid they'll be interchangeable

2) a Favorite MM alternative is likely to be released soon (from what I've read in various groups) - and apparently it will be more thought-out in its structure - no flap crease, stronger magnet / zipper.

I've never seen Favorite in person and my only option is online purchase, so I either order and pay for it or leave it as it is (and basically lose my only chance to get a soon-to-be discontinued bag).
I do need a versatile bag / clutch that will not be as casual as PM but I'm so uncertain it's killing me! :D

I really like this monogram strap. It make the bag much more comfortable to wear, adjustable and less vachetta to worry about. The biggest bonus is I can use it on the other bags as well. It really is well worth the investment. Here’s a picture of the two. You can see monogram is thicker.IMG_7236.JPG

I don’t own the Pochette Métis, but it is on my wish list. I chose to get the Favorite MM over the PM for the very reason that it’s being discontinued and I didn’t want to lose the opportunity to grab it. Haha.
It really is a versatile bag that can be worn casually or for a nice event. DE also goes with everything!
It seems like you need the Favorite more than the PM right now. And maybe you’ll have time to save up for the PM and get it before the next price increase! Hehe. Good luck deciding!!!

ETA: Also, the Favorite MM is a very highly sought after bag. If you decide in the future you no longer want it, you can always sell the bag and get your most of your money back if you keep it in great condition.

The PM can hold much more than the favorite mm. I have to be careful not to overstuff my favorite, bc even if the items can technically fit, the flap can/will pop open due to the magnet closure if you put too much inside. I can fit my phone (11 pro), zippy coin purse, and key pouch inside, and that’s about all I put in. I would try putting all your things inside the middle compartment of your PM, and if everything fits comfortably inside that one compartment, it should fit in the favorite mm.

thanks for posting the pic! I’m looking into the mono strap because the vachetta always worries me. I’ve gotten caught in the rain with it a few times and I just don’t want that kinda stress. I have the favorite in the pm size so I’m wondering if the thicker strap with the larger clasps will look out of place.

Thank you! I have the Pochette Metis and now have hard time deciding on Favorite.
Does the Favorite sit nicely on you? I heard the strap is a bit short, and the bag falls on your side rather than on your hip when you wear it crossbody.
BTW, this morning my order was cancelled - seems like they won't restock it in the near future(
