When I got my DA MM last year for Xmas I was told by the CS rep “No they’re not being discontinued.” BUT... it’s nearly impossible to get one in store or online and the folks here seem to have more reliable info than CS.

I saw a YouTube video about doubling the strap it came with but it made the strap all wonky so I ordered a separate one for shoulder carry. Very pleased. I tend to like shoulder carry better than crossbody. I know you can use the chain it came with but it’s pretty short and delicate. Still I think the chain is a nice detail.

You can still get the MM in the UK, you just have to keep stalking the website or keep calling them until you get to talk to someone who’s willing to put you on their waiting list. That’s what I did when I was looking to buy Favorite PM a few months back. I already have the MM in Ebene but I had an itch for PM in monogram so thought I’d try my luck and if I get it, great but if I don’t, oh well. I was told different things by multiple advisors but I kept calling (sometimes a few times a day) and finally managed to talk to one who put me on her waiting list. I waited a couple weeks and heard nothing back and thought I’ll never get one, but lo and behold I received a call from the same advisor asking for payment and said it will be with me in a couple of weeks when it’s ready. Mind you it did take more like a month but I finally got one and it was freshly made a week before so I was happy I persevered. All the best in your search, I hope you find one soon! x

Thanks ladies for the input, it does seem like it pops up more on the US website than the UK. I kept getting the discontinued message from the advisors here but the other day I went in to the store and asked the advisor there and she said there’s literally one available in the uk but it was in different store. She said she could book it and have it shipped to my home address and I paid for it there. I got notification of shipping today and when I rang customer services for an update they said it is being shipped from France and should be with me on Tuesday. Slightly confusing but hopefully Tuesday will be the day!

It is so hard to get these in the UK! I kept trying the Client Service number and was told it was sold out until an SA agreed to take a pre-order with payment - fingers crossed it’s arriving in a few weeks :-). It’s my first in DE - I really wanted the Eva (as I love the mono I have) but couldn’t find it anywhere even pre-loved so trying the Favorite MM - would love to hear thoughts from anyone who has both (I’ll probably still keep a look out for the Eva in DE lol).

Hi there, I understand the struggle! I had been trying for weeks too and it was always out of stock online and client services said none in UK, I did get an advisor to put me on the waitlist and she took full payment. Then she rang few days later saying item discontinued so full refund will be made. Anyway last week I went to store in London to buy speedy and just asked if they had the favourite and was surprised that they did! They had the DE fav mm and I tried it on but it wasn’t for me. I asked for mono and though there was none in stock she took a payment and preordered for me. Then 4 days later I got my bag yesterday and it’s beautiful! I went for the mono.

Sorry posted the message before finishing, anyway what I wanted to say is keep trying! It is out there and best to wait it out until you get a new one because I saw preloved go for slightly less than the new ones so not worth it.

Hi, I was wondering if anyone else has this on their bag: There is the smallest crack/tear (I couldn't even get a good pic and circled the area in the photo ) where the cut is made between the flap and the purse. Is this normal wear and tear, not a flaw at all because of how they have to make the cut, or a defect? thanks!

Happened to both sides on my bag but mine were a little worse and one LV said normal wear and tear (had for almost 2 years at the time) and I didn’t feel that should happen especially prior to two years so I went to another LV location and both SA and manager said it was a defect and gave me store credit. I’ve heard from other tpf’ers that eventually that’s bound to happen to flap bags :tdown:

I've been stalking the website since Sunday and still no luck :( i just called them and they said they don't know when it'll be in stock yet and it's not officially discontinued...annoyed with myself for not buying it when it was in stock!
