Does the Favorite ever become available for online purchase in the U.S.? I really want the monogram. I keep checking during random hours (the strategy that helped me land a PM reverse monogram), but so far, no luck. Thanks!!
I’ve been doing the same too lol. I was able to see the DE and DA pattern become available for a split second, but never monogram [emoji24]
It was a couple of weeks ago, two nights in a row I saw the DA and DE show up as “place in cart” at around 9pm central time. But I haven’t see that happen since then [emoji24]
I would like opinions on the magnetic closures on the MM size. I have a 2015 Azur bag. Does the magnetic strength weaken and is this something that I can have evaluated at the Vuitton store? Does anyone have similar concerns?
Wondering about your thoughts on the magnetic closure: Sometimes I have trouble finding the sweet spot and if my bag tips, it can open. My thought is to have a Vuitton store check out my 2015 MM bag! Maybe replace the bar closure?

I've never had an issue with magnetic closure and mine is 2015 as well. it always seems to find its spot and is never crooked. and the magnet has not lost its strength at all and I use that bag A LOT
I’m so disgusted- I just called my store to be put on a waitlist for the favorite MM in mono and was told that it’s no longer possible! Also, I was informed that this bag is being taken out of production and would not be available anymore. Ever. Grrrr. It’s so like me to become obsessed with a bag the moment it becomes discontinued. Has anyone else heard about this? I’m so irritated.
this is not true. they just say that because they don't want to put anymore people on the waitlist. you can call another store and do a charge send. they will essentially charge u for the bag and when it becomes available they will phone u to come pick it up. its faster than going on waitlist. they've been saying its been discontinued for almost 2 years now. its just to hype things up and most of the sales people don't know anything. they aren't very knowledgeable from my experience.
I’m so glad to see your reply. My heart dropped when I saw the previous post because I’ve been on the waitlist for two months now and was hoping to have one by end of year. I would agree that some sales people just say it to hype things up. I’m sure they are also trying to just get you to buy something else so they can make some profit out of you more real time. I have gotten different responses the past three times I went into my local lv store to ask about my waitlist status on the favorite mm. One said it’s an average of four month wait and another told me she didn’t think I would get it before end of the year because “we just don’t get that many in the store”...
I was in London in June and they had the fav mm in mono in Harrods. I looked at it and honestly it was not very nice. the canvas on this bag has somehow gotten really dull looking and ive noticed that on several Fav MM mono I've seen lately. I would strongly recommend getting it pre-loved. the canvas pre-2017 is very vibrant and beautiful. the new canvas on this bag is so faded looking.

I have a 2016 MM DE and haven’t experienced any magnet issues. I would definitely take it in for them to evaluate it. As long as you haven’t altered the bag in any way, they will take a look at it.
