I'm curious as to why you say the Rogue is over branded. Apart from the hangtag, there's nothing anyone can really see that would indicate to them that it's a Coach bag. The etching on hardware is so tiny.
That used to be a sign that the bag might not be genuine. If it was stamped or labeled "Coach" in multiple places, or if it had the signature "C" pattern on both the inside and outside of the bag than it was probably a fake.
So when I saw this bag labeled "Coach" in so many different places I had to think "what's going on here?" especially since the Rhyder line was almost devoid of branding - supposedly because Coach bags are recognizable even with minimal labeling.
My colorblock Rhyder 33 pictured above only has the small horse and carriage logo on the front and the name inside on the creed patch and that's all of the branding, the hangtags are completely blank. It seems like the company is a bit schizophrenic with their labeling! Just my opinion.
