Just keep in mind that invitations for these things are pretty limited. And your SA may not even be working that day, in which case you probably won't be invited.

I wasn't invited to this particular event but was invited to a different one a few weeks back. That was my first invitation in a little over two years of shopping and four QBs. I wouldn't read much into it but you can always let your SA know that you'd be interested in any special events. I just wouldn't make a big fuss about it.
Having been an SA, I can't imagine any SA missing such a major selling\clienteling event and not inviting clients and not showing up on their day off for the event. I've have never seen an SA just not invite anyone because they're scheduled off.

Dallas Hermes Friends, noticed a LinkedIn post for a Managing Director Role as of last week. Does anyone have any more insight on what is going on?
My sa told me they are looking for a new sm but he didn’t say why.
oh, wow! hadn’t heard this! I know they’re moving to a bigger location with private rooms next year maybe? but this is interesting news! is anyone here qualified to apply and can get us the “in” :graucho: lol!! (hey, one can dream!!)

had someone walk in one day and buy 20K worth of dinnerware for a party they were having
@MacawGuy , this part of your post caught my eye. I’ve had to wait many many months for dinnerware (I’m still waiting for done glassware, but I gave up on plates lol ) . May I ask which Texas store has this much in stock? thanks in advance

@THeartsBag, my local SA (though Madison NY, not Texas) has missed almost every rendezvous/ trunk show/ latest in-store selling event. I just course my requests to the head of RTW or wait until she gets back.

Never saw such a thing in a decade unless an SA had no clients coming or pre-scheduled vacation. Have you been at the events without your SA? Was someone hosting you on their behalf? Your anniversary bracelet is awesome!

Thanks so much! Yup, DH and I have been to these events without my old SA, who was promoted, or my current SA, so the RTW head introduced us to other people. ETA: our SAs do not have many women’s RTW clients. Apologies for OT, but one other point may be relevant to the event that started this rabbit hole :) In every H acct, DH is the primary acct name, and I am his plus one, so events like Mother’s Day in Austin or women’s runway show and after party might not have been in the forefront of the SAs mind.

Interesting to know! It proves me wrong about SAs and events but proves the point, from another angle, that an SA being off for the day isn't the reason their clients aren't invited to an event.

Well an SA being off could be one reason of many :D. Hermes is usually quite opaque as to its rationale. I was also told that Hermes US is trying to do many more micro events so as to allow more clients to participate. So, if you are not invited to one event, you may be invited for another.

This was the Dallas location, but again this could just be something she told me but not 100% accurate. I’ve never inquired about dinnerware haha.
