Thanks for your update. I'm getting closer; at least I'm not too far off. I'm aiming for a dark neutral in a B30. I'll persist in my prayers for that elusive holy grail. Gold hw seems to be more sought after I thought based on forum discussions but Palladium in Texas is interesting. At this stage, I'm open to any hardware. :)

Good luck to you! Have you gotten a bag in Houston at all? The first one seems to be much easier. What is your SA saying?

I think palladium is what they ordered more of and is more popular in Houston, not necessarily H altogether. I have decided that if I get another phw offer I am going to take it, as long as the leather and color are right! It's just I already have two b's with palladium and wanted gold.

I haven't received any offers yet for a QB, but I've received a few for non-QB items. I'm staying disciplined and holding out until I get exactly what I want. This will be my first QB. I began this journey just over a year ago and I'm not a big spender; I'm slowly building my profile with a monthly visit to the store. After reading numerous posts, especially your responses, I've adjusted my expectations, learned to be patient, and let the SA handle things at their own pace. Despite feeling a bit uneasy, I don't want to apply pressure in this situation. This wait is only making me less picky.

Haha that about sums up houston for sure. Our profiles sound pretty similar. If you don’t spend a lot then I think long term is the goal and what they value in this climate. I am REALLY surprised at the no offers tho especially since they try to get you a wishlist item pretty quickly in houston. You will get your hg! Stay the course!

I know my SA has mentioned quota to me (but in a good way if that makes sense). But he's honestly has never said I had to spend a certain amount. He has told me that clients always ask him how much do they have to spend and he tells them buy what you love. He may be saying that so clients won't be disappointed if they spend a certain amount and don't get a bag though. But my "prespend" (and I use that term loosely because I didn't even ask for my first bag when I got an offer) on the first Birkin was more than my prespend on the second Birkin. For the Nata with GWH it was around .5:1 (maybe less). I haven't had another offer since though. Go figure. Sometimes I don't think there's any rhyme or reason to it.

My sa has never mentioned to me about having to spend anything in particular for my profile. I’ve also never asked. She mentioned the spend while she was giving me the run down on the bags they were getting. She also mentioned her bf having to go Paris to try for a mini k because she wouldn’t be able to get one from the store with her spend. So then she told me that as long as I don’t want a mini k or b/k 25 I’m good. She says the bags I want are easy for *her* to get (she has some seniority there) but it’s a matter of the store getting the two that I want. They don’t get a lot of 35s and only order noir, greys and one gold on gold :doh: she said she’d try to push for a b35 next year if she can’t get me the one this year (not looking good lol). According to a newer SA they get a ton of evies and picos but in large shipments at once.

Speaking of spend I think I gave my wishlist to her on my second visit by my third visit I was picking up a Constance. I was no where near even 1:1. Constance isnt a quota but it will definitely prolong a qb offer. The store seems very, um, Texas (Southern), in its approach, if you know what I mean lol.

Agreed. I think it is pretty southern. I really enjoy my shopping experience at Hermes, even if I don't find anything I like. I have my fingers crossed for a Gold B30. My SA and the ASM keep telling me, "Oh, that's easy. You'll get one." I'm still waiting. But that's probably my fault. They know I'm never in a hurry or rush. And I'm not. He did mention a SO for me when I told him I wasn't sure I wanted a Kelly because of the strap length. That way I can customize the strap. But I'm not sure I'm a Kelly girl. He knows I'm only interested in sellier for a Kelly. My girlfriend is desperate for a sellier Birkin. We were told they are starting to get more of those but still pretty rare. I was disappointed in the handbag display. It's nice to see bags displayed. But they were meh. So you're waiting for a B35? When (not if) you get yours, I need to see it. I've been toying with the idea, but keep hearing how big they are. But people say the same thing about the B30 and I love the size.

Yes I want a gold on gold b35! Also a craie ghw b30! Whichever comes first! I’m also not in a rush. I don’t bother my sa about she always bring it up! I think b35 is the perfect tote size. I also felt on the fence about the size because I’d always read that people say the b35 is too big/heavy but it’s perfect to me! I have a b35 and a b30 currently but my b35 get far more use! I do use it for carrying all of my work stuff tho!

One day we can meet in the store and I will bring my rose Pourpre b35 so you can see it! Theres no telling how long I will be waiting for the gold one from the store :lol:

I've asked before at the Houston store and was told there aren't any to look at for sizing. I've purchased all my bags hoping they would be the right size for me (I went to The Real Real in Chicago once to get a feel for sizes). This was before they started having bags on display.
