Speaking of owls, I came across this picture below on IG and LOVE this little owl locket (or is it a pendant?)! That sapphire chain is gorgeous, too!

Also, I have two possible times to see TSC jewelry this month! We are going to the beach near Charleston soon, and I hope to get to visit Croghan's beautiful new store! I am looking forward to seeing the Rainbow Row amulet in person which @restricter has! Then, a week or two after that, we are going up to Highlands, NC for a few days because there is going to be a TSC trunk show at Acorn's!!! I was so excited when I saw that! It's a rare chance for me to actually see some of her more rare pieces in person. I hope they allow pictures, because I'll certainly be happy to share them here with my fellow TSC fans!

Beautiful necklace! Where is Croghan’s new store? Are they keeping the King Street location?

I read that they are keeping the original location, but they didn't say how it will be used. The new location is just a few blocks down at 155 King St. Here's a link that has a picture of the exterior new store:

I've seen some pictures (maybe on IG?) of the interior and it is really pretty.

Thank you so much! I’ll check it out the next time I’m in Charleston.

That looks like a new version of her classic owl amulet! Love it! Here’s my locket with mandarin garnets and matching earrings.

I remembered that you had that beautiful owl set! I am planning to get to that trunk show when they open the first morning because I think it is possible they'll have some pieces from the new collection, and I don't want to miss any of it in case they sell some! Hopefully I'll be back with pictures later this month!

Question for TSC collectors. I am breaking up with Van Cleef (it’s been an abusive relationship.)
Can you share with me is there are any “games “ with TSC like there are with Hermes or Van Cleef with minimum spends or VIP status to get access to pieces?
And on the other side, If you’re a serious collector are there events or special promotions?

Thank you!

No games or min spends afaik since TSC can be bought from department stores like Bloomingdales (often on sale during their promotions). There are sometimes special events at the NYC flagship store where Temple herself shows up. You can view and buy her high jewelry collection at the store too.

Absolutely no games. I was collecting VCA (mostly Alhambra) for several years before I went to TSC. I had always loved TSC but started with VCA and wanted to complete a few sets. As the VCA supply seemed to diminish (plus it became SO popular) and it became hard to even get common iconic pieces, I just gave up and started buying my other love, TSC. I don't regret it. The TSC prices are high now that the price of gold is so high as many of her pieces have very nice gold weight. But as iggybedora already said, it's pretty easy to get many pieces at 20-25% off especially at Saks and Bloomingdale's. However, there are always some exclusive items such as high jewelry pieces that often are sold by TSC in her boutique or her site. Almost all of her line is accessible at fine jewelers, Saks and Bloomingdale's, and probably other high end department stores. New pieces are introduced a couple of times a year, and some items phase out over time, some from years ago might be brought back. So if there's something you really love that's not part of her permanent pieces (some basic amulets, chains, angels, for example), I'd get it sooner than later. I also love that her pieces are not seen all the time like Alhambra now is. It's more quiet luxury but noticeably beautiful. I've gotten more compliments on my TSC than my VCA from people who are unfamiliar with both of them.

I wanted to add that I highly recommend getting her book, "Alchemy: A Passion for Jewels". Her story and the story behind many of her designs were very interesting and gave me an even greater appreciation for her jewelry. She emphasizes that the owner actually ascribes their own meaning to her pieces.

Adding on to this excellent post, TSC sometimes does special collections like a set of amulets that were designed specifically for Croghan’s. These are sometimes available on the TSC website but nowhere else. She also used to do charity pieces where a portion of the sale of a specially designed piece went to a specific charity. These days, I think she’s only giving to charity with existing collection pieces.

@Mayacamas, have fun exploring the brand! I second the endorsement of Alchemy, it's such a beautiful book, and so interesting. Her trunk shows are a lot of fun, too. Some of the pieces they travel with are more limited, and/or unique. We are a smallish group here of devoted fans! We'd love to see anything you decide to add to your collection. :flowers:

Hello again TSC fans,

Two requests:

1. For those of you who have TSC bangles, are they round or oval?

2. For those of you that wear TSC bangles with Van Cleef either Alhambra bracelets and/Perlee bangles, would you please share some photos?

Thank you!!!
